- OK Guys, it's time to take a look at the recent news that surfaced about Lane Hutson.. There has been some new photos lately and his lower half looks absolutely jacked. His legs are similar to Marty St Louis' and this is a very encouraging sign.

This summer is so LOOOOOOOONG!
The kid is so determined to not just play in the NHL - but to be a star in the league. Very excited when I think of the Habs power play for the next dozen years.
Since Hughes got his job, every year, we feel more hope for what's to come.. both because of what Bergy yielded at the end of his run, and also because of all the great moves Hughes has done. But the future is promising and bright in Montreal, and those excitement feelings are not something we've felt in the Gainey/Bergevin eras to be honest. We are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and we have so many bright and shiny prospects that it feels good to be a Habs fan again..wether it will pay off or not still has to be determined. But goodness it's nice to see the prospects and be genuinely excited about who might surprise us and who will make the shift up to the NHL this year! Amazing work from Hughes and his team.. thank you!
Canucks fan here, I've watched Quinn Hughes play ten thousand shifts by now. LH reminds me so much, just visually and skillset-wise, of the very very early days of Quinn Hughes. Not saying Hutson will get to a Norris level, but I expect him to absolutely set the world on fire at the NHL level. These little D like him are designed for the new NHL.
People sleep to much on Mailloux cause Hutson take all the light and is just awesome. He's a big strong Dman with great hand and one hell of a shot!
He is such an exciting player.

Hudson looks like he borrowed st. Louis's legs lol Frodo is gonna lay some big roots in the NHL with those tree trunks haha. I am really excited to see this young team grow together, I've been a habs fan for 30 years and ive never been this excited for this team. Though I was to young to remember the 93 cup but I remember when Roy was traded and the team fell apart never being part back together just a few mad scientists building a frankenstein team that never worked. Now I can honestly say what they are building is gonna thrill us habs fans for the next 15 years or so.

In the small sample size i saw of Hutson; i think he moves a lot like denis savard in his prime.
If this team is healthy next year they should at least be pretty damn fun to watch.

We all love Hutson I feel like it is Chelios coming back into the NHL again.
There is one problem and we don't yet know how big a deal it is but Hutson is mostly a perimeter player and MOST of the team are similar so if nobody is going to the net will Hutson be able to shine?
We know Hutson does have the ability to buy players time but if they are all lined up around the outside will there be any point to it all?
You see I happen to watch MANY Boston games because I wanted to watch Hutson and I saw a lot of that similar hockey around the outside and many times Hutson ragged the puck forever but they never even got a shot on net.I kept asking myself how does a line with Lane and Macklin together not absolutely dominate and it is THAT reason they often just ragged the puck around the outside ..FOREVER while never actually creating any scoring chances.
IDK if there were any numbers kept but Lane and Macklin had a bus load of puck control time so much I'd expect Gretzky like numbers.So I am very curious to see if Hutson can literally do it all and still get the puck to the net OR will he be waiting....waiting...and waiting for someone to get into the open slot for a great pass?

I went to a Habs - Bolts pre season game years ago while Marty was still with the Lightning and Marty came out to watch the Habs practice about 5 rows in front of us - wearing shorts so you couldn't help but notice his thighs were thicker than any two legs you've ever seen....great news that Hutson - and I hope Caufield and Suzuki as well - are following suit

Curious if any players follow the OMAD (one meal a day) protocol. It boosts HGH production exponentially from cyclical daily fasting. Cardio in the morning, resistance in the afternoon, eat at 1800 hrs and don't ever eat after 1900 hrs, ideally. By extension, games should be late morning after some time on the bike or in a pool. Some weights a few hours after the game, then pig out for supper. Ain't ever gonna happen.
Is this protocol ideal for youngins coming into the league who need to put on weight?
