Not sure if it's intentional, but I find it funny that someone with a really generic looking design is THAT good at rhythm games.
Funny thing is he's the 12th most subscribed - 540K subscribers (3rd most subscribed Male) Vtuber in his agency with 100+ members.
Despite his character lore being an IT office Worker in contrast to others being dragons, witches, fictional entities, and more "flashier" looking models he's hella popular. I guess being one of the earlier members of the group and having the personality and content of a "relatable otaku" made him successful.

Did you watch the proseka fes 2021 tournament that invited composer, VA, and pro to compete together? Yskz, Dola, and Eli were also there as vtuber team and got 3rd place. Yskz is the spearhead of course but Eli sometimes on par or surpassing him.
The scoring was interestingly really fair, the pro gamer team must FC master to even get their score counted lol.

This is a similar case with Arcaea devs LOL. They said something similar except that rhythm game is 3-dimensional, contains 4 holds and cross-hands so it's even more ridiculous.
All it means is there's never more than 2 notes at one single instant, they don't take into account lifting or moving fingers lmao

Just a quick reminder, there are some people out there who played this song for 12-24hour a day just to remember the note just for the sake of FC'ing it
I think rather than memorization people would just practice on this non stop since not being able to understand and/or react to the notes is not the biggest issue but executing them. Muscle memory carries over to other songs too.
Don’t forget, you also need *big stamina*
@@lan686 Memorizing the whole song is not efficient imo. I only remember really obscene unsynchronized left right type of pattern and practice hitting them very fast, I found them the best way to play rhythm games

Muscle memory and actually you read the notes from the top because of human reaction lag. You hit based on rhythm

The fact people can talk while still playing insanely fast charts in any Rythm game, will always blow my mind. I have to enter ultra instinct and hold my breathe just to get a 10 combo.

Practice more (play more) and you’ll improve automatically,(i can only clear MGPD with 2 birthday card healer,but ill get better since the more you play the better you become)

@@dagar372 alot of people play with thumbs, but when it comes to rhythm games, it's easier to use fingers. This is because our fingers can move faster than our thumbs and the mobility is completely different. However, I can't get used to playing with fingers lmao. But there's a few people who can full combo the hardest songs with thumbs!!! It's just harder than it would be than if you were a finger player

At 2:45, I was awed to the point where I felt ill. A combo over 1700, at a speed that's so fast that it's hard to imagine one would have time to lift their finger from the screen between inputs. Twenty seconds later, he complained about his score, and revealed that there was an even higher difficulty tier. It's enough to make a fellow faint.

as someone who is nowhere NEAR the skill level of this guy, it’s very entertaining to see the pros struggle
Yashiro is truly a god player.
That said, I want to know what kind of phone he has that can actually properly pick up all these inputs, because the frustration of losing full combos to the phone not detecting my taps or randomly dropping out in the middle of hold notes was one of the main reasons I gave up on Bandori.

it's more likely an iPad to me, cuz from what i heard iOS devices have really good ram, hence it doesn't lag a lot
dunno if its useful anymore but i *think* it may be an ipad pro? the screen size suggests its a tablet and well ipad pro has double the screen response as ipad air, which means it picks up the pen/touch at pretty much the exact same time the pen/finger taps the screen, reason why many artists prefer pro over air! and yeah, ios has a good performance with most games because its like it was made to resist heavy rendering. idk much abt mobile devices but been having to research a little because i want to get one myself for illustration :))

Flicks are annoying in that you have to kind of slide your finger up? And if you don't control the movement, epsecially in the heat of the moment where you're prone to giving strong flick out of panic and desperation, you can take too much time to hit the next note or shift your entire device. Also, the bars for notes are thin so you have to be very horizontally accurate, which is difficult if you're doing a vertical movement, which also makes playing on thumb significantly harder too (I full combo-ed HARD Bring It On with great difficulty as a thumb player since with thumbs, you have to hit flicks with certain pressure and angle too or the motion doesn't register.)

I barely survived on Expert mode and remember thinking "Oh god my arm actually hurts". You literally can't go easy on your arms with this song. It's drumroll after drumroll and your fingers have to be fast enough to keep up.

i know this is like unrelated to his playing skill but im just happy to see that his team is made of i assume characters he likes. I did that in the beta and was worried that it affects my rating as i dont like to build apon the meta but stuff i enjoy
His team is made by the event bonus. This was during fan festa event, which was pure and the character bonus were ichika, tsukasa, minori, kohane, kanade and miku. Building your team using characters you like is what most beginners do and while there's nothing wrong with that, participating in events will get you new cards and crystals, so just build your team based on the current event
They consume information & act on it so fast. It’s so mind blowing to me.
