it makes such a big big difference for students when they can identify a professor who do what they do not just for the health benefits, but to enlighten the students....its truly a game changer. and thank you so much...i will continue to watch your videos throughout mycollege career.
This guy is great because he gets down to all the basics and doesn't assume we know/remember everything. Excellent teacher. His derivative videos are just as great.
TYVM, my teacher teaches a diff way that confusing me, he should have just told me that i can just plug whatever number x approaches to to check the answer, this helps a lot
on ur second problem ... cant u simplify x-5 / x^2 as x-5/ x X x and cancel x frm numerator and denominator to make it -5/x and when u substitute 5 in it u will get -5/5 = -1 as ur answer?
i thought that (and i think my textbook states it too) that we can't just plug in the value of x like that? I thought you can only take values near x and not x itself (even though the limits end up being the same)
Its funny how you could go to places like MIT with some of the best minds teaching you, yet very few of them get down to the level that this guy does where you just see the light as soon as he explains it.
Well you can always know how to simplify these kind of equations like ax^2+bx+c, you only need to find a solutions x1 and x2 .... so ax^2+bx+c=a(x-x1)(x-x2)
Not really. In those formulas' cases the 'a' and 'b' factors don't take the sign. It's implied in the formula. That's why there's a difference when cubing a sum and difference ;) it's something like this: (h-5)²=h² - (2h*5) + 25 :) BTW: GREAT VID !! I have calculus now and this is saving my ass :D thank you so much !!
it is actually a question from a text book and i tried to solve it this way?? i dont konw whether it is right or wrong the question was `Show that two quadratic functions which have the same derivative must differ by a constant.` f(x)=a1x^2+b1x+c1; g(x)=a2x^2+b2x+c2 f´(x)=2a1x+b1; g´(x)=2a2x+b2 from condition 2a1x+b1=2a2x+b2 so x=(b2-b1)/2(a1-a2) as the function differs by a contant c=f(x)- g(x) =x^2(a1-a2)-x(b2-b1)+(c1-c2) putting x value in the above equation c=(b2-b1)^2/4(a1-a2)-(b2-b1)^2/2(a1-a2)+ c1-c2 c= -(b2-b1)^2/4(a1-a2)+c1-c2 i know it was a clumpsy that i did please give me a better idea to solve it
Dude, you're probably the best person I've seen explain this stuff so far on UA-cam. You explain it so well and make it easy.
You are quite easily the most articulate math teacher I have ever had. Thank you so much.

Your calculus videos helps me in 2019 and you uploaded it on 2008 omg 😨😨
"Don't ever use zero over zero, that doesn't make any sense at all" my favorite part
i just made a youtube account just so i could thank you. ten times better than my teacher. and i would like to point out i got a 97 on my test
This guy is very good teaching. I give him 5 stars out of 5
8 years later and I'm extremely thankful for your vids
I'm from Lithuania, studying in France but this prof that explains limites in English perfectly. I didn't get limits even in my native language
You put my calculus prof to shame 😂😂
you're a better teacher than my professor. thank you
Thank you very much ..You made it easy for me while my teacher scared me by this type of limits lol.Swear to God!..You r a great teacher!!
you're 10000 times better than my teacher! thank you!
you tha real mvp..my grade in college calculus right now is a 15 percent..but hopefully with ur videos I'll be able to do better
really great videos, really helpful for my high school calculus class
Great you make it simple good teaching good voice explain so smoothly
Thanks so much for teaching!! Before your video I know nothing on my assignment now I understand all of the questions!!
i really appreciate your videos... you are a big part of the reason I will make it through calc
there is mistake in 8:47 h square -10h on h so h go withe square still h-10h and limits to 0 so 0-10(0)=0 I am right or What?
Thanks a ton for making these videos. You have saved me.
Great video! Love the teaching style
Awesome. You have made me understand factorization so fast and easy
it was really very much useful .it is a complete explanation.thanks.
TYVM, my teacher teaches a diff way that confusing me, he should have just told me that i can just plug whatever number x approaches to to check the answer, this helps a lot
the BEST yet...thank YOU...SO much. a new Horizon. !!
I totally admire ur work
keep up d gud work
i watche lot of video but i could not uderstand when i watch you your vedio i undestood thanks alot i loved your vedio thanks
ok hopefully i'll do well on my high school cal test eeeee these videos make it look so easy
thanks
Thank you so much im in pre calc and i was doimg great up until limits but this has helped out alot
you a life saver didnt seem so simple in class but now it does
Niamya Price It depends on the professor teaching the material. Mine is horrible.
What if i waanna... put the negative in the numerator, denominator and the center. To make my answer more stroo__ ooong huh?
Thank you so much maybe I'll pass my calculus test tomorrow
Yeah you're so good Vin Diesel. XD
This is awsome.. will nail it tomorrow.. thaks
thank u very much! Wish I could have such a professor as you
thanks for helping out, it's very kind of you.
thank you Mr . >>> Saudi Arabia
بشر تخرجت ؟
مي تو✌️
Great stuff man!
thank god you uploaded this videos.... I love you !! :D seriously
@willseleven1 no as long as there is a plus or negative sign betwween them they count as one term and you can cancel any of the numbers in it
thankyou callculus man
From Indonesia
on ur second problem ... cant u simplify x-5 / x^2 as x-5/ x X x and cancel x frm numerator and denominator to make it -5/x and when u substitute 5 in it u will get -5/5 = -1 as ur answer?
You the best👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
thank you so much.. it's really help me for my study
subscribed!! this helped me so much! thank you
vin diesel teaching calculus lol.
lol, totally.
is he really Vin Diesel? maybe he study calculus to the need for speed motions
Fynx Factora No he isn't
I’ll never un-hear it
Maybe if Vin Diesel was from Fargo 😂
Your the best! Really! I was able to get it thank you!
Amazing! Man ur good u make it simple!
Hello sir I want to learn what is limit and why we learn and what's its role in daily life
thank you for your help kind sir
wahhh! 😂 thank you so much, i want you to be my prof in the future. 😂😂😂
Question professor:
Can you factor the top using (x^3-a^3)= (x-a)(x^2-ax+a^2)?
you r amazing !! veryy very helpfull thank u !!
O no.... it's easy....
Tnx bro
You are Awesome !
Are you drawing this using photoshop ? you are really good xD
YOU .... ARE .... AWESOME

was confused as hell when there was a "t" instead of "h" thanks for clearing it up
How do you cancel the "h" that is multiplied by 10 in last question 9:04 ???? That is so wrong
by taking h as a common factor
(h^2-10h)/h = (h(h-10))/h = h-10
majed .s.f Oh thank you very much!!
Does (x+3) can be cancelled in x+3? Or that is the rule?
Good lesson
Thank you so much for the help! 🙂
you really helped me out
Well you can always know how to simplify these kind of equations like ax^2+bx+c, you only need to find a solutions x1 and x2 .... so ax^2+bx+c=a(x-x1)(x-x2)
Thanks man you are great
Can someone answer this please?:
Is lim x->3
the same as lim x->3 from positive?
thank you.
That was very helpful
l
Thanks sirrr..... 😁😁
nice videos. ty
Kaway Kaway mga Taga Bulacan State University.
tnks for contribution
I love you thanks so much for this!!!!
Thanks a lot .................
May God bless you :)
I never thought it'd be this easy :)
Thank you teacher

Now limits is easy to me. Thanks Sir .
May i know how did u get the 10h in the last question? kinda confuse even u did explain in the comments
Ronnie Tan you break down the h^2-10 and turn it to h( h-10) over h and then you cancel out the h so you're left with h-10
hey thank u for that i also was a bit loss to what happenned to the extra h
no problem, glad to help
Hi sir pleas lwant part 1 ....and thank you very much^-^
it is actually a question from a text book
and i tried to solve it this way??
i dont konw whether it is right or wrong
the question was
`Show that two quadratic functions which have
the same derivative must differ by a constant.`
f(x)=a1x^2+b1x+c1; g(x)=a2x^2+b2x+c2
f´(x)=2a1x+b1; g´(x)=2a2x+b2
from condition
2a1x+b1=2a2x+b2
so x=(b2-b1)/2(a1-a2)
as the function differs by a contant
c=f(x)- g(x)
=x^2(a1-a2)-x(b2-b1)+(c1-c2)
putting x value in the above equation
c=(b2-b1)^2/4(a1-a2)-(b2-b1)^2/2(a1-a2)+ c1-c2
c= -(b2-b1)^2/4(a1-a2)+c1-c2
i know it was a clumpsy that i did
please give me a better idea to solve it
now i am happy because it's a easy kind XD
great!!!
You're great, thanks so much :)
HEY ISN;T THERE SUPPOSED TO BE h-9 instead of h-10??
7:25 So the coordinates are [1,1] right?
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
5:08 to be fair it never reaches -7, it only approaches it...f(-3) is undefined
thank you
well done
Why is it that factoring gives you a valid answer yet simply substituting the value in gives you 0/0?
how come (h-5)^2-25/h=h^2-10t+25-25/h when limit h->0
Thank you!
hello , lust i would like to ask you from where did you get 25 in the last question
5^2= 25. he was factoring (h-5)^2 .
Just simply expand (h-5)^2 using foil or distribute, the answer is h^2-10h-25.
You make it so simple
u rock bro
