Hello my friend. I liked the way you sleep :-) you have created a very decorative and authentic bedside table. Congratulations. Thank you for sharing. Stay healthy and happy. See you. big greetings.
Would HIGHLY recommend to use a brush or finger to spread the glue more evenly. You would be amazed by the difference in strength this slight change in application makes! Overall nice build though!
Great vid! I laugh every time I see downvotes on these types of videos. Like who got mad and downvoted that video and who hurt them to make them that way?
I've read that you shouldn't use wood glue on stained wood. It would make it easier for some of my projects if I could stain first. Have you had any issues with the glue not holding well?
Yeah, I was going to mention that. He shouldn't have stained the glue edges, but left them raw. Personally, I probably would have waited until after putting it all together to stain. That would also allow you to give it a good sanding before staining, and fill the pocket holes with a stainable wood filler or pocket hole plugs to help hide those.
If you ripped 1/2" off the top, did you rip the legs down as well? Maybe you mentioned this, but if not thats a pretty important step to mention if you want the top to be same depth as the legs lol
It is amazing how good a 2x8 can look with a little bit of work.
Beautiful and simple!!!

Great tip. I see others using a brush and going full coverage - I should start implementing that

Hey buddy great night stands!! And look at the subscribers number! 💪💪
Thank so much
Looks great, I’d like to see you fill those pocket holes with stain or something. The off color kinda stuck out with the finished shots.
Have you ever done a night stand like this with two drawers that would be çool
Good work man! Hoping I'll be able to make something pop like this one day. I'm just starting my making journey.
Also, Freakanomics is a great read. It's had a home on my book shelf for years.

ah, yes! if I didn't mention it, all of the pieces were ripped except for the lower shelf made from 2x6s. Good point, I've added it to my description
@@KellyConcepts cool video tho, keep it up👍
How long did this take you?
What's the name of that 45° drill tool? The blue one? Can someone help ? :)
It's a Kreg Jig pocket hole: amzn.to/40AymzF
I don't have a Kreg, what do I do? Dowels?
Dowels will work and then you can put screws on the outside of the legs into the shelves. They'll be visible but it'll work
@@KellyConcepts thanks for responding 🙏🏼
Those look super rugged.
I can so do this...but I'm just missing a few things...the tools #smh LOL
Hahahahaha
