Whips Only! The challenge run that started it all! Finally redoing it, but, in Calamity, with the help from the Unofficial Calamity Whips Mod, which adds a lot of whips that can be acquired during different stages of the game, as well as some accessories that can help with different boosts.
Also, this was livestreamed, so I will say sorry in advance for bad quality and stuttering.

How do u use infinite buff potions. Pls teach me
Since phantasm use fargo’s mutant mod, u simply get a stack of 30+ potions in ur inventory, ur pigge bank or safe to achieve permanent buff of said potions, such as 30 and more iron skin potions in said inventories gives the iron skin buff permanently. If lui afk mod is used, u craft an unlimited potion of 30 of whatever potion u want to be applied forever, such as regen potion.

hey phantasm, just for any other whip/summoner runs in the future there's a tech called "whip stacking", for example the snapthorn will give a buff in the top left that lasts for 3 seconds on hit that makes ALL whips and not just the snapthorn attack faster, and whip stacking would be using the snapthorn to hit once every 3 seconds to gain the buff then switching to a more damaging whip. love your videos though! keep it up :)

Yo, just to let you know, if you buy stone from the architect, like 50 stacks of 9999, make angel statues then throw them in the shimmer,, aether monoliths sell for a lot. 50 stacks off 9999=100 Plat+
You spend an hour buying all those stone and making angel statues... Unless theres a way to instantly buy max stack with a mod

Phantasm you can still get infinite money, it just takes a longer time. you can craft obsidian with stone while near water and lava and the architect sells obsidian so you you stack the bought obby with the crafted you can sell it all for the buy price (he sells it post evil boss) before that you would have to craft the obby into bricks and do the same, but it sells for less
magic storage makes it 1000x faster as you can just buy a millions stone craft it all into obby instatntly and sell it
it isnt a phantasm video if he doesnt say fuck in the first 30 seconds

Take a idea, i love to pick the acessory in the abiss to buff my whip attacks, that acessory bost so much the damage for the whip and melee weapons

i did an infernum run with these whips, when you DO have minions some of these are EXTREMELY op. shame you couldnt activate most of the OP effects without minions.
Why does every time I summon Skeletron prime it has 2 heads and auto summons destroyer (I’m on revengeance).

How to infinite buffs teach me
I actually did this awhile ago… granted I was also using the weapon level up mod or whatever it was called so I don’t think it counts😂 got up to calamitis and don’t think I’ve beat her yet
If you’re having lagging issues you could try a mod called High FPS Support it helped with my lag

3:05 I don't think they patched infinite money at that time, pretty sure you just tried to do the glitch while architect was at neutral happiness (Living with 4 people with no other sources of happiness makes it neutral)

would've loved if you used minions, but only from a previous gamestage. pre hardmode in hardmode, etc

As someone who wants to start my first calamity run, what class would you guys recommend for a first timer?
Throught the mods and vanilla melee alone is the honored one.
starting off with melee is the safest (and fun) way to go

Mage. It’s the funnest and I’d say the good amount of balance for a beginner. But honestly, anything but rogue. Ever.
guys i started my first run on expert revengence, and somehow rogue is working better for me than melee cause i dont know how to fight bosses while right next to them (and i really f'd up my progression because i dont know what weapons to use or what bosses to fight first. I ended up beating the twins using cobalt kunai and palladium javelins, and then fought cryogen post mechs, and aquatic scourge post plantera)

Fargos mutant mod (not sure tho)
@@stormnordentoft4601 I have that one installed and it adds the insta platforms but they destroy blocks. The way he was doing it, it was like it was filling a gap and stopping at the blocks.

its the ore excavator mod i think. you just press your excavate button and it will place down the platforms in front of you

Hes played with catalyst before but I don't think he knew that it added the whips
