P.S. Here is my written blog post about the IAAPA Haunting Grounds that I showed in this vlog: superenthused.com/2024/11/23/new-for-iaapa-expo-2024-the-haunting-grounds/
Credit where credit is due, IAPPA puts more work into show theming than some actual theme parks do! 😁 We will never get sick of seeing so much imagination and creativity clustered in one place. Dinosaurs in one corner, Santa and his singing reindeer in the other, crazy dancing light displays in a third and who even knows what in the fourth. Vidanta World looks like it’s going to be incredible, as does Tecuani Beast…and we are _so_ super excited for Rapterra! Not only do we love a good launch coaster, but it will also be the closest wing coaster to us when it opens next year. 😎 I think it goes without saying, but if you do decide to visit Hersheypark in 2025, feel free to give us a shout! The sweetest place on earth is practically our backyard. Already renewed our passes into 2025 and getting excited for our first rides on Twisted Gravity! Absolutely love the Haunting Grounds, reminded us of the walkthrough experiences at Transworld. And the drone show was pure magic! Thanks so much for sharing, Jackie! ✨
I used to attend events at the convention center and know how much walking you can do--glad you did not miss that shuttle. I always enjoy our videos since they are so upbeat. I have been mourning the loss of my special kitty and needed to watch something uplifting. I can feel your love.
That MV Rides train was fantastic. The singing reindeer was cute and unique. Loved the Christmas stuff at 21:53 that was briefly caught. Also the stuff at 22:47. The robot at 30:28 was cute. It would be so cool to go to the expo at least once, but we can't afford memberships for now.
Hello lovely Jackie, great video, tour fantastic technology rides, light show, attractions and more at the IAAPA Expo, Orange County, FL..Have a nice one.
Looks like you are having a ton of fun!!!! We are glad you are enjoying IAAPA, because we always do! Come on over to booth 4564 if you have time to shoot some arrows!
I think that it is so awesome that they have a convention like that in Florida. You get to see all the new rides coming, even the ones not in the United States. You get to ride some of the ride and try the new food. That potato looked very tasty.
Jackie, I love all of your videos and your spirit. This has been an especially hard year and watching all of your new and older videos brings me such joy and it’s a great distraction. Happy Holidays and thanks for all you do for your fans! ❤️
I’m so sorry it’s been a hard year, sending good vibes for the new year and things getting better. Thank you for being so kind, I hope it comes back to you tenfold!!!
Thank you for taking time to shoot and post this. I will go to IAAPA someday. You're videos are so awesome this will hold me over till then. I appreciate you!!!
This looks amazing! Thanks for taking us along for all of the festivities. Btw - we are going to see Wicked tomorrow because of your recommendation. ❤❤ - western NY Aimee
The Latin American coaster is designed after the Quetzalcoatl the feathered serpent of Mesoamerican lore. Honestly I’m not surprised at that. It’s been a popular design choice for years.
You have perfected your craft, Jackie, and loved every minute. You also work so hard with all your socials, and I didn't know you were still blogging. I'll have to check it out. 👍
You are so kind!!! I definitely don’t blog as much as I used to, but I do when there are big announcements and big things to share. I need to get better at sharing the blog posts on social media and stuff. 💕
The imagination on display at this expo is wonderful! Thanks Jackie for sharing. That drone show was simply incredible! My daughter is watching The Wizard of Oz, to prepare for seeing Wicked on Thursday. Let us know your thoughts. My daughter is a big fan of the musical as well.
So disappointed I did not know about this earlier!! I'm familiar with Distortions Unlimted and have a lot of their items. Amusement Parks, Holiday animatronics, rides, so much fun!!
Ohhh,..I missed it again! Every year, I keep saying that I want to see this show but keep forgetting it. I'm sooo glad you made this video. I almost feel like I was there Jackie! THANKS!!!!
Awesome video Jackie!! The convention center looks so cool!! That big dinosaur looks so cool!! The haunted houses were looked like so much fun! The guy sitting in the chair I thought for sure he was going to pop up and scare you lol!! Love the Dragon ride car! The design of it looks so awesome!! I like your glasses!!😊😃😊
Thanks! It was definitely exciting to be back at IAAPA. I'm always eager to share what I learn about the incredible people and innovations in this industry. Hope the video gives everyone a glimpse behind the scenes!
Here we go! its IAAPA Time! It never disappoints. Normally I'm excited about the rides and attractions, but the technology and animatronics are so incredibly cool. I love the spooky stuff! some of those crazy animatronics are pretty terrifying Lol! I may need to purchase a giant black bear for my front yard, just as an extra security measure..and to see the look on my neighbors faces 😂 Also, what they can do with drones now is simply impressive and amazing. I love that they are finally incorporating them in some of the theme parks and using them for special events, So Cool! Great Job as always Sister 🙌 One of these years I'm gonna go! Can't wait to see what's next 😁
This was cool 🤩 You always do great showing stuff 😊 The Animatronics are so awsome and the haunted stuff was Spooktacular. Drone show was cool. In the future there will probably be a drone show in every single park around the world😮 Thanks for sharing this interesting things. Be Safe Take Care 😊❤
I think drone shows are definitely something all parks will want to try or at least incorporate. So many have already, it just requires a big field to lay them out in 😂
Did you totally just low-key reveal you wear Spectacles? I feel like ive missed a memo😂 They really suit you. 4:52 Tim & Jenn Tracker in a spin. Always an interesting expo.
@@writerpatrick lots of people are seeing it this week, I'm not sure how! Maybe special advanced screenings. But I have plans to see it this weekend and am so excited!
I am such a huge fan of the channel the park in mexico is stunning but i probably won't be of they anytime soon so i am most excited for the Naruto coaster going to Parc Spirou Provence in france Naruto is a favorite anime of mine and i love coasters so i am overjoyed
Yes, it's coming to Holiday Park in Germany!! We are def going to do some European Parks asap! Sam has visited many of them, but this will be a first for me.
25:29 you can see on the left side of the screen a light that passes by super quick next to the drones that I’m pretty sure is a UAP, too fast to be a drone. Not far fetched since Jacob the Carpetbagger caught one in his vlog too.
We usually see each other here, we rode the drop tower together one year, it's in my vid and I think his too, but I don't remember which year haha. Didn't see him this year tho. I always love getting to see so many fellow theme park enthusiasts and chat and catch up at this event. 💕
Thanks for the questions! So, I've been attending IAAPA as media since 2019. Anyone can apply for media credentials on their website and all the info is there. In general, they're looking for established creators with an appropriate audience (usually theme park focused) and strong presence, and who share on multiple platforms (so besides this video, I also blog, have a website and share on all my socials). As for photography, media are generally allowed to film and photograph, but common sense and courtesy are key. I always ask before filming/photographing a booth, and make sure I'm not in the way of any business. Hope that helps, and I appreciate your support and hope you enjoyed the video! I'm always grateful to be at IAAPA, and do my best to share the event in my own unique way :)
To be honest, I'm not entirely sure about the specific rules for different attendee types. It probably varies a bit depending on the type of pass. The IAAPA website would be the best place to find the most up-to-date info on that. I do know that live streaming isn't allowed, but that doesn't affect how I usually capture things. Out of curiosity, are you asking for yourself or is there something specific you had in mind?
@@SuperEnthused I mean if someone who is not a member of the press attends the event, where can they take pictures, and where are they not allowed to do so?
Quetzalcoatl somehow lost god status. According to legend she was poisoned via a very strong alcoholic drink then tricked into sleeping into sleeping with her half sister. The father didn’t exactly like that so Quetzalcoatl was banished but kept her powers.
Just a heads up for others, as much as it looks cool and still is, it still is a working business convention and deals are being made, not some theme park convention for thoosies or gp.
For sure, IAAPA is a trade show first and foremost, and I've always made sure to clearly state that in my videos since my first time attending back in 2019. But it's also a celebration of the industry, with people of all levels having fun and enjoying the attractions. Of course, you give space to those making deals, use common sense and decorum, be respectful to the atmosphere. I'm always grateful to be able to attend and share this unique expo.
Disney has their own D23 Expo, but the theme park world is huge and this is where so many of the big players in the industry make and share announcements. From regional to major chains to international parks and attractions. But many of the vendors and orgs we saw do work for and with Disney, and almost everything we see in their parks that isn’t made my Imagineering (which is a lot more than you may think), is made by the comparison we see showcasing at IAAPA.
@SuperEnthused yep but you said all the big announcements..but aren't Disney the biggest players and they don't announce here ! So it's everyone but Disney that may make announcements here...
Thanks for watching! IAAPA actually had a great influencer program this year, which is awesome for those creators. My focus is a bit different though. I've been attending IAAPA as media since 2019, creating in-depth videos and blog posts about the industry. I'm always eager to learn more and share my passion for this world!
