Damn they really did the remake/rerecord justice, but Ryo's vocals are levels above, im sorry. Ryo brought so much energy and heaviness to this band, it's ridiculous!

I would argue that their later stuff has more hardcore influence tbh. Their early stuff sounds more metal (though it is metalcore)
