YES, she faced many years of rejection audition after audition. It gave her a low self image. She is a solid human being full of empathy ! I listen to her daily, she deserves All the Best. A true Star was Born !
I agree that she is a superstar. Best female version of that song ever! I can't get enough this performance. I intend to watch every reaction video to it forever.
I have watched this over 20 times and I still get goosebumps every time I hear her sing this song. The way she sang that song, it sounded personal to her too! Love her.
😮 I agree! Best competition performance I've seen! I've seen this so many times and I get chills and tears every time! 2:34 Right here, "I'm certain" cuts right through to my soul!🥰 She's going places and I can't wait to follow😊❤ Great reaction once again and thanks for sharing!🫶
Actually, her audition from start to finish is my all time favorite, and I said "Winner" right there. And then she comes back with this in the semis---Absolutely Stunning!! She just made that Her Song. Her performance in the Finals of "Over the Rainbow" was also Terrific! but this one is my favorite. Sadly, there are those who want to throw shade on Sydnie winning. The whinners seem to always come forward when they don't get there way. Seems they never grew past the age of two. She is a very sensitive person, and has been hurt by the negative comments. Time to stand tall Sydnie, and rise above these dipshits. For every one of them, there's 100K who love you. You're the Best and most likable singer I've ever seen of any talent show. Now it's time to go foward and be all that you can be. 💕💕
She has been singing and dreaming of starring in a West End production (the original Broadway) since she was a child. She has a degree in musical theatre and has been “on hundreds’ of auditions since and has been rejected more times than she can count. She did work on a cruise ship for a bit, not a high bar and far from her dreams but she’s put in the work. She has worked in some small regional theatre and has never stopped grinding away but that big break you need to make never came her way until now. Through all that rejection which hurts no matter how good you are, she’s kept going and finally found a place where her talent was acknowledged. I can only imagine how hard it must be to keep believing in yourself and your talent through so much rejection.
Sydney has paid her dues which is probably why she was so emotional. The difference between the stars and wannabes can truly be timing, perseverance and OBVIOUSLY ya gotta have a little bit of talent. Thank GOD for this show and Miss Christmas getting her BIG break. Her life will never be the same 😎
This was HER arrangement of My Way. She had been working on it for quite a while. Then her vocal coach from BGT helped her get it to what we see. Also, Over the Rainbow is Loren Allred's arrangement, but honestly, Sydnie took it up a notch. LOVE Loren Allred, but Sydnie slays it 100%.
I have watched every reactor to Sydnie and you are my favorite. You explain why she is amazing and I love your expressions. I cannot get enough of this bright light that has come into our lives.
Funny thing is, I have NEVER had a singer or music group make me cry in all my 62 years of this life. Sydnie is the ONLY one who brings me to tears EVERY time I hear her. It's like she reaches into your soul and just rips it out. The first time I heard her was on BGT when she sang "Tomorrow" which I have heard many times. Within 10 seconds of her starting, I was welling up.
Thanks Dennis. In an interview after the finals, Sydnie said she put in all her efforts into making her version of My Way with the help of the BGT production team. 2 down, 1 to go. Finals next. I read that she got 37% of the vote to win this semifinal. That’s out of 10 acts, a huge percentage. Fantastic performance, although she was so nervous her voice coach had to walk her out to the stage.
She gives lots of chills. One of the greatests vocals I've ever heard at age 70. Singers come on this show and their audition kills only to not be able to follow up with something as good. Sydnie crushes semi and final performances. Sydney would win a World's Got Talent competition.
She seems to be an " old soul"...Luke like Justo Garland ..she remembers that great singer too...pure emotion!!! Really wonderful...I follow you from Argentina!
I feel like she may have lost some opportunities on top of just the “game” of being a performer…. But Covid hit….. which took time out of her career… and I just think that in the end, it benefited her on her stagecraft and her vocal ability… this is her time even if she might have wanted to make it big sooner than now…. In the end… she wins, we win…and I can’t wait to see her in person at some point…. A legendary PERFORMER is revealed for all…. Love your passion for her!
A star is born. I would like to shout out the composer and original artist of this song, who doesn't get the credit he deserves. Mr. Paul Anka was a teen idol in the mid 50s, and has written a ton of songs. Every year he used to rewrite the lyrics to the song for his performance on the Jerry Lewis MDA telethon. A powerful song, with a powerful message
She was on the Loraine show after her audition and she credited Marisa Wallace with that version of tomorrow which was done during the pandemic to lift peoples spirits....if you watch that interview with Sydnie and her Nan's you will get to know this amazing woman even better...Karl from eastern Canada
A song I really disliked-then-POW!-she seemed to be performing a different song---sounded like she just wrote it in the wings! There are no words--except Sydnie Christmas Super-star!
another facet of her talent!!! Simon is speaking of people she has performed for before BGT that did not give her a break...they are IDIOTS!!!! missed their chance!
I've lost count of how many times I've seen this performance. EVERY time I still get chills, EVERY TIME!!!!
Yes. The voice makes me emotional every damn time and the voice is pushing tears out. It's something crazy. Heard this 20+ times
Me too..
I love all her songs but this one..Man oh man!
Me too
This performance proves certain notes in a song gives people goose bumps

She is the greatest singer I have ever heard. Bar none. She has something about her that makes you emotional listening to her. She is beyond words.
Whitney Houston same level
If you think that you should listen to Lara Fabian je Sui malade
I have watched this over 20 times and I still get goosebumps every time I hear her sing this song. The way she sang that song, it sounded personal to her too! Love her.
This girl voice is off the charts! I had goosebumps the whole time she sang this. It my absolute favorite song and she made it even better.

Blown away every time I watch her! I am 60 years old and I cry every time I watch her performances on BGT!!

Very well said I totally agree.

Great summary of her journey into super stardom here! 😊❤❤❤

For the life of me, I can’t understand how they could actually reject her because she has one of the best voices I’ve ever heard in my life
A wonderful reaction to a mesmerising and powerful performance. I am in a daze. Oh wow!
I agree with you, a star is born, she will be remembered for that performance ad infinitum, awesome. I love her.
I've seen so many reactions to this and I think her version of 'my way' has really captured so many people! It's just phenomenal
Mic drop 🎤 she is INCREDIBLE. She is absolutely captivating. She has something so special - that is star quality ⭐️ 👏
Watching from UK 🇬🇧 This bought 😢 to my eyes. Amazing 👏 🙀 😯
Christmas makes tears come out
Every single time..

She is amazeing! I watch time and time again! She is so addicting

She absolutely did it her way. She has many more curtains to face in her future.
She is more than just Broadway. The world is now at her feet.
Yes
Hopefully Broadway bound. Amazing. Thanks for the reaction.
❤ My favorite reaction video Podcaster covering one of the best vocal performances ever!❤
She seems to be an " old soul"...Luke like Justo Garland ..she remembers that great singer too...pure emotion!!! Really wonderful...I follow you from Argentina!
Judy Garland I wanted to say...And the power of Liza Minelli in her voice
I feel like she may have lost some opportunities on top of just the “game” of being a performer…. A STAR 🌟 is born 🎉🎉🎉
This generations Shirley Bassey 👏
Suggest watching Dame Shirley Bassey perform My Way.
This was just stratospheric more than blew me away who would have thought this song can easily be compared to Frank's?
The arrangement was done by Loren Alred. Loren is absolutely a fan of Sydnie
AMAZING!!! WOWZER
She gives us all chills, she's phenomenol
Shes auditioned for west end shows. Thats her dream, to be on stage in the west end, uk equivalent of Broadway.
She can be much bigger than the West End. She's going to be a SuperStar.
@wajj1842 I've said it after her semi final and I'll say it again. Sydnie doesn't need the west end anymore, the west end will need sydnie.
@@davidbarrass5210 Don't you find it fasinating that they didn't grab her the moment they heard that voice. What a Talent!
@@wajj1842 because you are auditioning for a part or character from a script. They don't say come in and sing me a song.
@@davidbarrass5210 Perhaps they should.
11/10 is correct
I do like your reactions, love from Portugal.
Unbelievable performance on my way the best i ever had she is a superstar
*See why I told you go from the audition to this...yes she won!*
She had auditioned for a lead role in the West End which is a version of United States' Broadway.
A song I really disliked-then-POW!-she seemed to be performing a different song---sounded like she just wrote it in the wings! There are no words--except Sydnie Christmas Super-star!
J ai la chair de poules à chaque écoute ❤❤❤waow
Great Reaction 👍🙏💯😎
The Idiots were not from BGT, this was other productions she has tried out in
Great reaction.
she reminds me of Judy Garland .. her phrasing and her tone
I totally agree with you! Exactly what I heard in her voice!
Dennys the new videoclipe by Gabriel A Spiritual Experience! Stand Up - Gabriel Henrique, Coral Black To Black
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks 😊
Omg omg omg omg!
another facet of her talent!!! Simon is speaking of people she has performed for before BGT that did not give her a break...they are IDIOTS!!!! missed their chance!
❣
Sam Bailey or her?
Oooooohhh!!!
Sydnie is amazing but Sam Bailey was so bloody special
Sam Bailey is Amazing, but Sydnie is the Best I have ever seen/heard. She sucks all the oxygen out of the room, then lights it on Fire. STUNNING!!!
Christmas is on a different level
West End directors turned her down.
