Some of the UK rappers got far better following numbers than most US rapper out of the top 5. They sell and stream better in Europe, Asia, Africa and South America.
You probably won’t hear a UK accent on US media but once you leave the states it’s a different ball game.

New pool of mainstream rappers has been pretty weak.
If you’re speaking purely mainstream then no. If not then plenty.
The last great crop of rappers were from the 2010s. Kendrick,Drake,ASAP mob, odd future, chance the rapper, big Sean, tde, big krit, Mac Miller, meek mill, j Cole and migos and you can name more for me....but between these rappers literally all sounding the same and on top of it, these kids are dumb and their attention span is very low. So they constantly need new shit. Who gonna take the torch when future is done, Drake, Kendrick, Durk and all them is gone? No regional music anymore. No stories being told we can buy into is right.
Because after 2010s mumble rap became “lit” but mumble rap wasn’t a problem just because nobody understood the words it was a problem because it allowed rappers to get away with saying a bunch of nothing on a nice beat and gain popularity. That’s why none of these new rappers last not even lil uzi because it’s music with no substance once kids get older they not tryna hear that and the new kids found some other shit to listen to
