At least with KR/CN you still have a lot of the oldies e.g Faker/Uzi still trying to compete. This year's worlds was an amazing storyline with Deft v Faker. NA used to be interesting but NA esports is just bad in general

In S3 we saw a lot of ward wars, high reward asssassins, etc. This meta it's so boring it's less about how you play and more of champs being OP. Man watching this in 2017 makes me feel kinda weird, so much has changed since then, Gambit no longer exists as well as quite a few other teams, some if not most of the pros have either retired or are now on different teams then they where back then, and champions have either been added or changed so much that most of the ones shown here are no longer played in the meta.
