Hey Mike! I’m in Albuquerque. I hope you enjoy your time here. You’re very inspirational. I wanted to be a civil engineer, but it didn’t work out 😅 Thank you for your content!
1960 map: Old 66 ran concurrent with US 60 on North 8th Avenue out to the west side, then went west and south on it's own as US 60 went south on US 87/287 to 10th. 287 then went east on 10th, Tee Anchor and 18th out of town. City 66 (probably the original alignment) used 6th Avenue. 60 and 87 went out 36th Avenue and Canyon Rd. southwest until 60 went west to Clovis and 87 bent back south toward Lubbock. Quite a bit different now. I-27 hadn't been thought of.
Ahhhh.....I miss my Texas Interstates especially the old school two lane (on each side) Interstates that remind me of how all Texas Interstates looked like as a kid in the 1980's.
Blessings in an abundance of the faith. I salute you. 🙏😘Grace and peace be unto you and to this place. God bless you. 🤍🤍🤍🌈🌈🤍🤍🤍. Thank you. Will you believe and receive Jesus Christ as your LORD and personal saviour??? I do. 🤍
Mileage mike is officially going out west.

It's been over 20 years since I've been to Amarillo...looks like not much has changed.

Amarillo is not seeing the population boom like Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston is seeing, TBH.
