I love the costuming in this magnificent series. I frequently pause the video to look up what certain things mean, such as the shape and designs on the headdresses. Also, I can't imagine the number of hours spent on just the embroidery on one dress. I feel I've gone back in time and am witnessing real scenes from history. I went to the Forbidden City in 1983, but it wasn't until this series that I finally understood the payout of it and why so many different palaces within It. Wonderful series.
As an English viewer to this video and not able to understand it or the horrible subtitles and someone who has watched the series many times, I always assumed her scarf was always of a softer fabric and never as tailored and structured as the other characters to differentiate her from them to show she had a softer side, did not care too much about formalities and looking perfect, she would rather be comfortable with a less stiff scarf around her neck. You can also notice in the series that all of the consorts wear the back of their hair shaped into a "duck bill" I think it is called, where the hair is very slick and sticks out in the fashion of a duck bill. Ruyi never wears her hair in such a shape, she always has the back of her hair braided in an elaborate bun (there is one scene where you can see her maid Suoxin styling her hair in the elaborate bun), probably to differentiate her character even more as well.
I am amazed to ruyi so much, she's clever and brave at the same time knows her worth. A woman like ruyi are for keeps but sadly Emperor Qianlong didnt make it, felt so sad about ruyi. 😭💖
Beautiful costumes born by Beautiful Culture. I love the head gear, always amazed by the whole appearance from head to toe because even the high heels are beautifully decorated shoes. I wished I could wear one of them. A master piece of Ancient Art Clothing . Qing Dynasty possessed it.

I cannot find any paintings of Qianlong consorts /women wearing these white scarf. I only see it in other Qing emperor reigns, it’s called the Longhua collar and showing to come about in the 1800’s

Attention à la traduction mot-à-mot qui, bien souvent, trahit le sens général de la phrase et au final, gâche tout le travail de traduction; on remarque que les mots traduits littéralement à l'aide d'un dictionnaire ne donnent absolument pas le sens voulu dans le texte d'origine et que par exemple " si vous traversez accidentellement un jour". ne veut rien dire du tout dans le contexte. 我覺得如懿每一套都精緻用心經典，不覺得有哪一套土的，從配色到髮型都很到位跟有重點，看的出造型師的美感跟要傳達的內涵，到是常常覺得其他角色的髮飾叉的好平面沒有美感的邏輯，原來是不同人做的，有點可惜了其他演員的美。

不是只有衣服名字長，別人家的鎧甲名字長度也不遜色，例如：「金小禮色威片肌脫胴具足」。
昔の人の感性が、パリやミラノのデザイナーより優れているね。
