HIGHLY reccomend using a sanding foam block. I used 180 grit and it turned out perfect. You'll avoid scratching the high polish on the raised side as you see @10:47. The scotche bristles can go wild on those edges. A foam block won't do that, so you'll achieve an improved finish. Thanks for the inspiration @GFW Watch
Why am I thinking that i can brush the watch without disassembling it? I will apply a screen protector on the glass before brushing. Do you think i will be able to do that?
If they release this watch with a dial similar to the normal g shock range and non inverted LCD i would instantly buy this. Even better if they also make it as a resin version. This size is just perfect for me, but i dont like the inverted display and without the typical casio style markings it kind of looks empty. I actually right now would buy the white display version more likely and swap out the band for a black one. But yeah, this watch with a normal G shock display would sell like hotcakes. I cant fathom why casio is so resistant to releaseing a small steel watch with water resistance and sturdyness. Or even just a small resin g shock. The Casio A1000 is overpriced, bad display and no water resistance...
I'm not sure about the warranty but I'm sure that it won't become more vulnerable to rust. The bezel is made from stainless steel and not some plated steel.

@@tehreut I would highly recommend taking the bezel away from the unit. Fine sanding particles could damage the lcd display surface
@@theverbalremedy they are selling screen protector, so can i apply that and do the sanding without taking off the bezel?
@@googaajjj6099 that would be a bad idea.
Looks so much better thanks for the guide

Looks better 👍 good effort.
Great tutorial! Thank you for posting.

Any steel strip to that watch ?
maybe just sand blast the whole thing
Hi, does this void the warranty? Also does it make the case more vulnerable to rust?

@@GFWatch thanks for the info!
Oh yeah, looks much better now. I think you have brushed it a little bit too much, but it still looks better then the original polish...
Is there any replacement straps recommend for this watch?
Sickkkkk mods
Does doing this procedure affect the water resistance rating? Or wont affect at all
Nope. The bezel is just an "outer case" over the true watch case. It doesn't affect the WR.
Can the bezel fit on the gw-b5600 models?
Nope, it is smaller.
can the bezel be installed on the dw5600?
I don't think so. The case is smaller than a regular DW5600
