That Rajinikanth (with his low aesthetic sense) at first did NOT want this song saying it is "not catchy" and then Ilayaraja convinced him that this will make him earn more fans with women folks! DO NOT USE DRUMS for this song. It is a pure Carnatic composition; drums RUIN the mood and emotion of the song, which you do not care about apparently!
