There are 2 versions of him in the game, the second one with a slight palette change and slightly harder ai. Other characters that have more than 1 form are: Witch, Incubus, Satan, Chiro, Archen, and Doppelganger Arle.
I never played puyo puyo box, but let me get this straight you have the same spells as arle but also end up fighting her so who the hell are you in this game?(or this mode anyway)
alt f4 You are still arle, because there are clones of some characters, like puyopuyo 1- tsuu - sun arle (arle that is controlled by the player) and puyopuyo~n arle (enemy on the rally)
I believe 1 and Tsuu on here are based on the Mega Drive versions, with just more speech samples for Arle in the original game (the MD port cut out a few of her voice samples). Of course as you can see there were additions, such as the Sun Puyo's put in, and of course the Rally Mode seen here.
