- We're Leaving the Hamptons for the summer coming back from France and right in to our wind down on our house as we get ready for the renters to arrive. Tough to leave this time as we really feel our house is getting to be so beautiful and really feel like home. But we keep reminding ourselves that we bought this as an income property, so it's donig what we wanted it to do; earn income.

DProf candidate in Existential Psychotherapy here - I hate to be 'that' person, but I'm seeing signs of avoidant attachment between Preston and Hannah. The first two years of your child's life essentially lay the blueprint for their relational development as an adult. If caregivers are inconsistent in a child's life, change often and /or rapidly, this can lead to insecure attachment, which may spell relational problems down the line. Signs of this include Preston's unwillingness to greet Hannah on her return. It means he has begun to shut off dependency of her, because he can't rely she'll be there consistently - not that he loves her any less. For a child that young, this is harmful for his emotional development. However, it is not too late to create a secure bond between you. I would advise Hannah clears her calendar to bond with Preston until he is at least 2.5 years old. Really not trying to be preachy - just looking out for you guys.

Preston's comprehension is very high. He is so cute. To piggy back on your "safety first" comment, you may want to check into New York State laws re: bike helmets. Not sure how accurate this is, but I googled and found this..... if, all bicyclists under the age of 14 years old are required to wear safety certified bicycle helmets when they are operators or passengers on bicycles (Sec. 1238(5)). Children aged 1 to 4 must wear a certified bicycle helmet.
Well is about time!!! I know summers are a time for family, travel and fun. But I missed you, Hannah and mostly P. Love the excitement you guys had to see him. My husband and I made it a priority to nurture our marriage while raising three daughters, so we traveled a lot too. And we felt the same way after being away for a few days. P, is quite the young boy. God bless him. I look forward to your vlogs. Thank you and can’t wait to hear P talk in full sentences. And day now😀. Enjoy the rest of the summer.

Great Summer vibe you guys 🏖😎 sending with love 💛 our top tip as parents of 2 you never know how soon initiative kicks in - and in our experience impulse to do stuff on your own like mom and dad shows up before enough life experience to stay safe - says she famous in the family for deciding at age 3 1/2 to "drive" dads classic car - climbed in , let the brake off , smiled as it sailed in to a wall - not so much at the split lip from head butting the steering wheel 😲😂
