This video is so beautifully done, one of my fav Within Temptation songs. Sharon always looks amazing, I would die to have a wardrobe like hers. Pity the song is cut short, but oh well.
Indeed, Mother Nature does not discriminate in anyway, we humans are merely a passing flicker in Earth's long history. In the face of Nature, we can do nothing but tremble, powerless as we are. An important message to remember.

Cette chanson compte beaucoup pour moi. J'ai découvert Within Temptation avec elle. J'adore le clip et la chanson encore plus puisqu'il y a un message. Nous ne sommes que de passage sur cette planète. Nous subissons les catastrophes naturelles, nous souillons les réserves naturelles de la Terre mais la Terre est forte. Elle se relève toujours. Elle survit, elle peut se mettre en colère et nous en payons le prix. Nous nous croyons supérieurs à elle mais elle nous remet toujours à notre place.

This song has great meaning. In my opinion, it even speaks the truth. Mother Earth sure does create life and take life. If humans really believe they can try to control the deadly weathers, well think again. Nature has a very powerful mind of it's own. Let's see what happens in the future and the possiblity of 2012 predictions.

Beautiful video. I would have LOVED to seen this in HD. It looks like they recorded it in HD, but uploaded it in low quality. Cool song. Love the pagan themes. I've never listened to this band before, but I particularly love how her voice doesn't have that high-pitched weirdness to it that a lot of Celtic/pagan-style singers have. I guess because they're rockers, which is awesome. :)

I have discovered two incredible things as of yesterday I did not know existed. I was waiting for the third. This must be it.
I remember going to Unst in 2008 and listening to nothing but WT on my MP3. This was one of the songs I kept listening to.
Tbh I think the point of the way she's dancing is to interpret the movements of animals and things that are all part of nature. You can kind of see that from how the camera phases between her and the animals as well.

I have one thing to say, concerning the video and the song. I love them both. I think it's a perfect way to describe "Mother Earth." By the way, it's not really a religious thing. It's kind of just an emphasis on respecting Nature, I think. That's a pretty important universal message.:3
