I've wanted to vid this series for many many years now, here it finally is. I really wish it were better but my program kept crashing and I just had to lower my own expectations. I really loved this series, even though I found season 2 very frustrating.. ;) Anyway, this year I read Zola's book based on which the series was created and I absolutely loved it. The plot is a little different but it was easy to picture Moray (Mouret in the book) and Denise as these two actors and I sooo enjoyed that experience. Hope I manage to vid them again but we'll see...

@@AuburnAfterglow Years ago I read another book, 'Therese Raquin', by Emile Zola. I have forgotten most of it, must read it again!
@@sarahsromanticdrama Therese Raquin was the first Zola I've read, really enjoyed it! 'Ladies' Paradise' I read only this year and adooored it 🥰 but it actually is part of a 20-book series (!) so I'm thinking of reading all of it one day... :)
