I noticed some design similarities between the Jove ships and the player-race ships...the SOCT cruiser has the Gallente front-heavy feel, while the Polaris frigate looked like a caldari ship with the bumps polished down. The Spectre has Amarr lines while the Phantom has Amarr lines with Gallente asymmetry. All-in-all, very cool looking ships.

Honestly, I think the day one of the Jove Motherships comes out, everyone in it's way should probably get a quick glimpse...and the run as fast as possible. One of those could probably take at least 3 titans at once.

About the small fleet defeating a large amarian fleet. That large fleet was an Amarrian Reclaming flottila, and it got destroyed by a jovian mothership + a small fleet.

Jovians are the 5th surviving race of the collape of the EvE gate wormhole from the galaxy earth is in that led to New Eden, The Jovians retained the majority of their technology, and were in space long before the other 4 races were back in space. Giving Jovians a very high technological advantage, as a very small fleet of jovian ships stomped all over a fairly large amarr fleet. CONCORD and such bought their technology from others, and researched their own, Jovians had theirs before them.
Good job with this video :) I think they're building the Jovians up because of the recent addition of the sleepers the Jovians wont allow the sleepers to have there way and then BANG Jove will be explorable and playable, thats just what i think and good job on the ships :D
I never inspected Jove culture and origins and technology, however I would like it to be ,,opened'' one day in EVE. Opening up Jove Space, with very hard access through ultra rare wormholes, for instance. Ability, to befriend Jove Empire, maybe even do missions for them, get their technology. Build Jove Ships like this battleship or industrial ship. All of them would be OP, but at the same time hard to make. Living in space of oldest existing New Eden civilization could be very thriving experience.
Oh yeah, if you read the eve chronicles, there was one story when the Amarr tried to invade Jovian territory. They ended up getting the shit kicked out of them by one Jovian mothership and then some.
the jove don't have titans, but they have the first motherships in eve that were orginally made for mass transport but was repurpose for combat. ONE of the 3 motherships (with light small ship support) was what pwned the amarr when they tried to attack with their raggity ass 200 ship fleet. basically, from what i read in the lore, the mothership has a freaking doomsday lazor on it that would make shoop da whoop proud
to see the boats in game just type the name of the boat into the chat area high light it, right click, select item, then choose the boat you to be displayed. pretty easy and very useful for a lot of things.
Well, if you check Duality now, you'll see we might be getting the SOCT Cruiser (as a faction, scanning Battlecruiser) as well as some other faction frigs ;)

The ship design in EVE is by far the best i've ever seen in any game, or movie, or ..... book? No comparison. The Imicus is still my favorite. lol idk why

Some Jovian ships are in eve players hands if they where lucky enough, once upon a time you use to be able to get them, hell you use to be able to go into the jovian empire , but not any more. The fifth and final race
@LordKinoda having said that i do think that maybe if a player reaches the level in which they manage corporations and forge alliances, the game might become more eventful and interesting. but like i said, my idea of a game is not to spend hours and hours on it in order for a story line to be revealed, i only play video games when i have free times not make time from my daily routine to play a game.
These space frames are not available yet. Since they obviously have all the models for them, it's safe to say they will be introduced at some point. Making these costs money, that money is not going to be spent on ideas that never see production. The new expansion will be out soon [is it that time of year again!],
@AAgibsonAA Unless something is different with the Jovian ships, they are run by a single "Capsuleer" A.K.A. a single Jovian, that's why the strange designs don't matter. Even if they were run by crews, then they would be small or they would occupy only small parts of the ship. Also keep in mind these are massive ships, even the small ones are two to three times the length of a 747.
The 1st one isn't a jove ships iirc. The devs use it to lay the smack down on TQ items that need to be destroyed. There are fittings floating around EVE and its full of titan DDs, a thousand drones, and OMGWTFBBQPWN GM mods with great names.
the phantom is the ship that the nightmare is based off of the SOCT cruiser looks allot like the fighter bomber for gallente. also the angle cartel ships are all based off of jove ships same for Sansha nation ships

the map has an entire region dedicated to the jove but no points of access i asume one day the gates will be put in and then you will be able to buy the ships i have seen a video with a jove station in the background they look ace
I don't think we'll ever be able to fly Jovian ships. I think CCP could use them as a way to introduce new tech in one of the next expansions, like new t3 modules and/or ship bases.
@mikko522 As it is, only the Developers and GM's can fly Jove ships. To my knowledge, they really don't engage players with their God-like ships. There's constant rumors that Jovian ships will eventually be coming to the masses, but I kind of doubt it. Unless they make it so the ships are just LUDICROUSLY expensive (like you could buy and faction fit a Carrier for the price of a cruiser hull), or really tone down the ridiculous stats they have, they will be the definition of overpowered.
Actually the Polaris isn't a Jove ship, It really is a spectator ship, used by ISD reporters when they show up to watch stuff. I saw one at a race event once.
These look similiar to the Sleepers in some ways. Maybe the Sleepers were autonomous robots created by the jovians? Unless they're of a different race.

There is a Jove mothership, in the titan class... its been created, but no one has seen it yet. methinks its in the pipeline for CCP

jovian frigate got more dps tank range and tracking than a whole titan fleet.

Jovians are piloted by EVE admins (devs) and the only way to get one is work for EVE or get one from a person working for EVE
