I think the year Kendrick had and the impact it had on the culture, he gave the Grammys an Alley-Oop, all they had to do was break the backboard, which they did. The culture was tuned in and even people that weren't into the Grammys were tuned in. They did a great job.

I think the Grammys changed the voting rules in the last couple of years. They limit the amount of votes that members get so that they focus on what’s important to them. They used to be able to vote in every category, familiar with the genre or not. I like this change, it represents the genres more honestly.
