This hits hard because I was always neglected by my family and just wanted my mama to tell me that she was proud of me for being the first person in my family to go to college, but never was.. it turned into depression and I tried ending it all before police came rushing in and hospitalized me for 2 weeks. Never had anyone that visited me, while every other patient had friends and family that would visit them everyday. I would just walk in the hallway alone with nobody showing me love and shit. I can relate to this song.
