Thank you so much for this video! Super helpful and I would love to be interviewed by Meghan Viveiros! Just listening to her speak made me calm down instantly and her approach to interview these applicants is something I wish was universal across all these PA programs.

Pa schools puzzle me lol. At the same school i applied and interviewed as a PA, i got denied. Two weeks later got in for advanced nursing. Both required same exact pre reqs, grades, and GRE scores.

One thing that makes PA school competitive is just how popular its getting. I know one program near me had 900 apply when they only accept 45.

@Im Thrillz Programs can get thousands of applicants, especially popular programs.

Do you think getting a BA in Healthcare informatics is a good field for pre-PA?

Do you think that majoring in Healthcare Management is a good idea?

I got my degree in healthcare management. But I didn’t know if it would be a good degree for PA school until I found out they accept non traditional students too

So, let's pretend this is a hypothetical. Were I to have volunteered for a humitarian mission abroad (in Latin America), spending a full month working with families to educate them on all matters related to public health and well being, how do I log those volunteer hours. I don't want to overstate; just eager to be fully honest about this great experience which changed my life.

Any hours that were spent doing volunteer work would be logged in this case. Don’t log hours that you are sleeping or eating, but everything else can be counted as long as you can justify them.

If you can't write a good letter of recommendation, don't write one at all
