TWC Local On The 8s "Weather All The Time" production music

- This is a video I put together featuring all of the 60-second production music tracks that play during The Weather Channel's Local On The 8s segments as part of the network's "Weather All The Time" graphics which debuted on November 12, 2013. This video also includes the track that is played when TWC is in Storm Alert Mode as well as the 6-second LOT8s jingle.
All tracks were taken from high quality video clips recorded off the HD Weather Channel feed with my TV tuner. All rights go to The Weather Channel and NBCUniversal/Comcast. No copyright infringement is intended.

Anyone else get mega nostalgic from these tunes? The only time I watch weather is when I’m on vacation so this reminds me of laying in bed after an eventful day up north just watching those tornado shows
I used to live in Michigan as a kid. me and my brother would always wait till the time came around and popped the weather channel on. The music for some reason now makes me melancholic. Really makes me miss those days.

Second song is my favorite. I really love that tune! When the third song plays, you know bad shit is about to go down. I remember it playing when my area was under a heavy tornado threat and when we were having an ice storm.

Anybody else get that nostalgic feeling? This reminds me of traveling and going to a hotel. EVERY hotel I've been to has this channel. And every time I travel I put it on for nostalgia.
My motorcycle road trips days in the US during those years always started with tuning the hotel TV to the TWC. I had that piano song stuck in my head the whole day.
2:10 - 3:12 When you hear that song, you just know something is going down. I remember hearing that track around the time Hurricane Irma made landfall in Florida back in September 2017.
I watched it happen on the weather channel when it went red mode. One of only few times I've seen it go red.

Well good thing i live in Eastern Kentucky and there's no oceans in Kentucky but flood's can happen and one time I heard that a hurricane hit Paducah!
The Songs actually have names. The First song is Called Tomorrow's Sunrise, and The Second one is called Clouds May Come.
Whats the last one?
The last one doesn't have a name. It is just a cut of a track that is called Severe Weather Theme.
The third one is "We're All Gonna Die".

Yeppers! Me too, especially the second song. It reminds me of my baby girl when she was first born. 6 months old and every time this song played she'd stop what she was doing and listen to this song smiling and laughing
That second tune is my absolute favorite...
But it's deeper than that..
I used to turn on the weather channel in the morning to check the weather before I headed off to work..
And I had a chocolate lab that used to sit by my side in my livingroom in the morning with me as I got ready for work.. that song would come on and she would perk up and look at the TV often wagging her tail, so happy listening to that tune...
So I would hum it all day at work... just couldn't wait to come home to my baby girl..
Then I would come home and softly hum it to her..
She would get so happy...
So I'm all alone now...
But the song and her spirit will always be with me..

Weather Channel should get an award for using the most Augmented Reality effects in their studio. sucks they don't give guided tours of their studio in Atlanta, GA. Would've love to see the augmented reality effects in person rather than on TV. Maybe someday.

OK, I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY ABOUT THESE SONGS. Ready to listen? Okay, so I lived in Colorado about four months ago. At about 9000 feet elevation. I was dying, literally, dying. I'm not kidding. And the weather was on all day long pretty much, and all I could here, were these songs playing all day. All day long. So, when I here it, I remember myself, laying on my bed, trying not to shut my eyes, forever.

I love this entire video because it reminds me of when I go down to my Grandma's house in the suburbs of Chicago.The weather Channel is normally on the TV there. The first song reminds me of rain in the forecast and the second one reminds me of when it was nice and sunny. The last one always reminds me of when severe thunderstorms were moving through the area and I would go out in her backyard and watch the storms roll in. In fact my profile picture was taken in her yard from a severe thunderstorm that I had actually predicted would go severe warned. Since I'm just a kid I had to come inside when I saw lightning. I never got to watch the storms for too long cuz it was unsafe. This music brings back some good memories of severe weather events. Hopefully this summer I will get to shoot some good footage of the storms there. Now that I have a GoPro I can go and film in the rain and upload the video to my account.

Since late 2013 up until DirecTV no longer offered the Weather Channel, I always heard the first song, the second song infrequently, and the third song...never actually. I'm always rather fond of the old 2000s jazz myself.

Thank you TWC for the stock music. The jazz that was once played was great, then you guys jumped the shark by putting vocal songs in the mix...bad idea. The new stock music sounds great and gets rid of the vocal stuff. Don't change a thing.

I'm surprised to see that survived a heavy tornado, nice, I live in Virginia... the only Tornado we've had in the past year or so... but that was about 14 miles south of where I live (a friend told me about that).
I’ve always loved this song, My Grandparents would watch the weather channel and It would be like Heaven to my ears, and I still do it to this day!
But the intense part makes me think of when my cousin the exact same age as me bit me then I made a comeback and since she has anger issues it didn’t turn out to good
