I think Jesy looks older because she (possibly) got a buccal fat removal surgery. It's a surgery that tends to make you look older. Just my opinion, I have no idea whether she actually did it of course.
Jesy also just is older too. She's got a more "womanly" (don't know another word to describe it) body, whereas Leigh and Jade are a lot slimmer, and Petrie definitely filled out (in a good way, like she became more similar to Jesy, like what happened with Selena Gomez) and she's the youngest and has a different style. So comparing them Jesy looks a bit older, but her style excentuates it. Idk if she's gotten anything done but if she has it's definitely minimal because she doesn't look not like herself (which can happen with PS).

I think the huge difference in the creative control or being pushed around by higher ups is that Fifth Harmony were *children* when they were formed where as Little Mix were adults (not saying adults can't be pushed around) but I feel like that was a big reason why the 5H girls were like "get me tf outta here" (being under the people they were under, not away from each other)
I think the main problem was age I agree, but more so because they didn't really have an idea of what they wanted to be in music or an identity. Little Mix while young, had an idea of what they wanted to be as a band and what music they wanted and meshed well while 5H had no idea so they had no choice but to be forced and manufactured a sound, to the point where when it came time where they started to figure things out it was too late.

As a fan of both groups, I could always just tell Little Mix loved working together and treated each other as family while 5H always seemed to want to be alone on stage and they never really seemed like they were in it together.
5H members just didn't have much individuality or creativity in terms of what they wanted to be or them as artists, so they had no choice but to be manufactured. Camila wanted to go solo and do her own music yes, but all the other girls had different ideas on what music 5H should do too and wanted to go solo as well. There wasn't really solidarity and teamwork regardless at least to the level Little Mix had with each other in Fifth Harmony even post-Camila leaving. So to blame Camila for the issues with them not working together or sounding right isn't fully true even though she was the catalyst for it. Little Mix had more of an idea of what they wanted to be as a band and individuals in the band and meshed well since it was more of a collaborative effort.

They was definitely successful. In 2010 they was named the biggest girl group. And they did have sisterhood they said that in many interviews that they are sisters and forever will be
this is kind of biased, especially the relationships part because fifth harmony have also had so many moments where they had supported each other, had each other's back and were super close. It got worse over time but to say that the relationships within the group were always tense like that is unfair in my opinion.
I love both groups and it's members to death (minus racist Camila) but the groups were treated differently from the start. Simon and X factor put the girls from 5H against each other from the first episode they were together. Little Mix tho the show never interfered with their relationships so they had time to adjust, grow and become genuinely best friends and not just co workers.
during xfactor one of the judge told the group in front of everyone, it was live that "perrie is the best singer she should be the center of the group and you should focus on her more" which i think is kinda similar to what demi said to camila in their season of xfactor... i think the difference is just that little mix aspiration has alway been to be successful as a group together and whereas the 5h girls had to be a group and it was fun bc they were successful but it was never enough for them and they secretly (maybe) all wanted to be solo since the beginning (like they knew it was just a step to then go solo)... and see that worked bc camila is one of the main pop girls today and the other 4 are not as famous as her but they all make pretty good music and have strong fanbase so i guess it was meant to be haha :)

Fifth harmony and little mix are both very talented girl groups. Fifth Harmony have never flopped, they were successful whilst they were together, but they wanted to be more creative and go their own ways as even though they loved each other they were not happy in the group, this does not mean they were not loved or unsuccessful as they had, and still have a very big fanbase. Each girl is now doing amazing in their solo careers and are much happier now.

I wouldn't say they flopped at all. They had plenty of successful songs and were more successful than most girl groups. You could say they didn't last but they were not a flop at all. Also, they were children when they were put together and had no creative control.

I apologize in advance for the long paragraph: Jesy just turned 29. She over-lines her lips and is very insecure overall because all throughout X-Factor and still to this day she gets hate. About her weight, about her appearance, what she wears, literally anything she does or wears. She almost committed suicide because the comments got to her. She dealt with severe depression and anxiety too which she still deals with. The other girls help her through everything. She doesn’t like shooting music videos or having photo shoots because of everything that has happened to her. Jesy does have a documentary called Odd One Out that talks about her past, no one really knew what she was going through but you could see it. Odd One Out: A Time In My Life I’ll Never Get Back is a short little clip from it that I recommend. The other girls have also suffered at the hands of racism, eating disorders, anxiety, and extreme hate too. A good video to check out also is The Dark Side of Little Mix. It came out a few years ago so it doesn’t have any recent issues that they’ve overcame.
honestly i might get a lot of hate for this, but i feel like if fifth harmony was treated the same way little mix was then they would still be together. fifth harmony barely got paid, they were always being told what to do, they were always overworked. i think 5H had an actual sister relationship but their company screwed them over so bad that you could see how much they hated it. i don’t think they hated being together they just hated working under Epic. their budget was always short, and they were just in general not respected. like i said tho if 5H and little mix were treated the same physically, financially, and emotionally they’d still be together and would be a lot more likeable

Epic/Trashco (Sorry I mean Syco) did not do any justice for Fifth Harmony what so ever, I felt like the label and the management where trying to put these 5 girls against each other, and Fifth Harmony had no creative control in their music or anything but Little Mix on the other hand had more creative control over things but was not promoted in the US because record labels want women to shut up and not have creative control in their work which Little Mix proved them those motherfuckers label wrong. Trashco (Syco) was not doing anything to push Little Mix into the American market because they had way more better control but Fifth Harmony had less creative control but was heavily promoted. I know Little Mix had hard times under Syco but it’s pretty clear by how both groups talk about the business side of things that Fifth Harmony has a worse deal, 5H: “read your contracts” “we were given songs” compared to LM: “oh we’re in control of everything we do”. this is kind of biased, especially the relationships part because fifth harmony have also had so many moments where they had supported each other, had each other's back and were super close. I love both groups and it's members to death (minus racist Camila) but the groups were treated differently from the start. Simon and X factor put the girls from 5H against each other from the first episode they were together. Little Mix tho the show never interfered with their relationships so they had time to adjust, grow and become genuinely best friends and not just co workers.
during xfactor one of the judge told the group in front of everyone, it was live that "perrie is the best singer she should be the center of the group and you should focus on her more" which i think is kinda similar to what demi said to camila in their season of xfactor... i think the difference is just that little mix aspiration has alway been to be successful as a group together and whereas the 5h girls had to be a group and it was fun bc they were successful but it was never enough for them and they secretly (maybe) all wanted to be solo since the beginning (like they knew it was just a step to then go solo)... and see that worked bc camila is one of the main pop girls today and the other 4 are not as famous as her but they all make pretty good music and have strong fanbase so i guess it was meant to be haha :)

Fifth harmony and little mix are both very talented girl groups. Fifth Harmony have never flopped, they were successful whilst they were together, but they wanted to be more creative and go their own ways as even though they loved each other they were not happy in the group, this does not mean they were not loved or unsuccessful as they had, and still have a very big fanbase. Each girl is now doing amazing in their solo careers and are much happier now.

I feel like this video was pretty biased towards little mix because really pushes the idea that 5h weren't friends, even though they were. I personally believe the main reason for the split was to do with their label, contracts and almost having no creative integrity at all. They all got along well with each other, but it's definitely better for them being solo artists now
I apologize in advance for the long paragraph: Jesy just turned 29. She over-lines her lips and is very insecure overall because all throughout X-Factor and still to this day she gets hate. About her weight, about her appearance, what she wears, literally anything she does or wears. She almost committed suicide because the comments got to her. She dealt with severe depression and anxiety too which she still deals with. The other girls help her through everything. She doesn’t like shooting music videos or having photo shoots because of everything that has happened to her. Jesy does have a documentary called Odd One Out that talks about her past, no one really knew what she was going through but you could see it. Odd One Out: A Time In My Life I’ll Never Get Back is a short little clip from it that I recommend. The other girls have also suffered at the hands of racism, eating disorders, anxiety, and extreme hate too. A good video to check out also is The Dark Side of Little Mix. It came out a few years ago so it doesn’t have any recent issues that they’ve overcame.
honestly i might get a lot of hate for this, but i feel like if fifth harmony was treated the same way little mix was then they would still be together. fifth harmony barely got paid, they were always being told what to do, they were always overworked. i think 5H had an actual sister relationship but their company screwed them over so bad that you could see how much they hated it. i don’t think they hated being together they just hated working under Epic. their budget was always short, and they were just in general not respected. like i said tho if 5H and little mix were treated the same physically, financially, and emotionally they’d still be together and would be a lot more likeable

I love 5H but I think we’ll I kinda know the problem and and harmonizers know what was happening. Epic/Trashco (Sorry I mean Syco) did not do any justice for Fifth Harmony what so ever, I felt like the label and the management where trying to put these 5 girls against each other, and Fifth Harmony had no creative control in their music or anything but Little Mix on the other hand had more creative control over things but was not promoted in the US because record labels want women to shut up and not have creative control in their work which Little Mix proved them those motherfuckers label wrong. Trashco (Syco) was not doing anything to push Little Mix into the American market because they had way more better control but Fifth Harmony had less creative control but was heavily promoted. Women in the music industry need more creative control like Taylor Swift, Taylor Swift has always in control of everything. This goes to show record labels, some, are shit.
I know Little Mix had hard times under Syco but it’s pretty clear by how both groups talk about the business side of things that Fifth Harmony has a worse deal, 5H: “read your contracts” “we were given songs” compared to LM: “oh we’re in control of everything we do”. Seems like 5H were offered a bad deal under their contract that was made too eventually screw them over and it did.
I absolutely hate comparing groups but I think we all know why Little Mix succeeded better than Fifth Harmony. While Fifth Harmony were talented and had great songs, some of them weren’t friends. Plus, like Lauren said, they were kinda mistreated. I do think some of them had genuine friendship. (some clearly weren’t genuine) Last thing, Camila really was the only shining because of her unique voice and that’s not fair to the other girls. And blaming the other girls and saying they “bullied” Camila is a HUGE stretch imo. I’m not gonna get into that though. Little Mix are actual sisters from what I see, and they also have great songs.
