Rebecca, are you talking about the curved piece or the whole display? There are several tips/techniques scattered throughout most of my videos on the basics. If you’re talking specifically about the curved piece, it’s on the “to do” list down the road.

Today is Fed 12, 2021. I first saw your channel when you created your displays for this past Christmas. I had some thoughts for a new layout for my Christmas Village this year and as I browsed your videos I see you have done exactly what I've seen in my mind. I don't personally celebrate Halloween, but I love how your layout design looks with the curbed sidewalks and driveways. I don't know if you'll get this comment, but I have to ask... Would you be willing to do a tutorial on how to create the curves? It would really help me fulfill the plans I have for my Christmas display... Thank you...

Thank you. Most are hidden in cut outs underneath the base. I do plan on doing a tutorial on wiring and lighting soon!

Hi Carl when you did Trick-or-treat lane did you use 2x2x1 sheets as the base I know the houses are on 2in just wondering because I am trying to figure out how many houses can go on the bottom base.

Yes, the circle is just the base layer of foam and cut to resemble bricks!

I been looking at this layout and wondering how you got the sidewalk piece this thin to fit all the way under the stone wall and houses? Because it looks like all one piece.
It is one piece-for this layout…which was my first one, I used cosplay foam and simply cut it with scissors.
I have never heard of cosplay foam before so good to know there are many different foams to use. Thank you.

Carl, do you happen to know the dimensions of your Trick or Treat Lane base?
Scott…they are 2’x2’ sections. I have 4 of them in that display-so 8’ long by 2’ deep.
