That was epic! Most people just overload the song with bass and call it a remix. But you you put enough of just about everything to make it so perfect!
What I really like about the bass in this remix is it swells, not at all unlike an actual ocean swell. Whether that's a conscious choice to emulate ocean waves, the actual sonic waves really add to the entire track's vibe. Even further, the choice of bass drum sample used is much more akin to what you might hear in tropical environments, but altered just enough to fit with the rest of the instrumentation, notably the synthy chords in the background. Whether this is just a choice in sample or meticulously hand-crafted waves is a guess in my book, but the end result is just sublime, there's no other way for me to put it. I am continuously blown away at how many distinct and suitable voices Vector U crams into these remixes, and I can see in some of the more melodic interludes where NoteBlock's influence comes through. What an amazing collaboration!
Thats what I hate with nightcore remixes every time I hear one it’s just pretty much somebody’s song getting ripped and played back at a higher pitch and speed and people uploading them as their own original remixes It really makes appreciate when an artist will put that much time in effort into their remixes by changing a song so much and almost making it their own while still keeping the original essence of the song and still using the same sounds from said song
