Today is December 27th 2024. It is still winter on my calendar and just because the 25th is passed it doesn’t mean the winter holidays are over!! I leave all my Christmas decor till mid January before it gets taken down. I extended all my cheers and joy as long as I can, then looking forward to the next Christmas to come. It gives me HOPE! ❤🎁🎈
The content creators have to get their vids up early so that we watch them and get ideas for when we’re ready. I start searching for them so I can get ideas.😊
I couldn’t agree more! Winter doesn’t end just because Christmas is over, and extending the holiday joy until mid-January is a wonderful way to keep the spirit alive. It’s so heartwarming to hear how you embrace the season and look forward to the next Christmas-such a beautiful way to carry hope through the winter months! 🌲❄️❤️
Here in Michigan we can’t set out flowers until late May, I can’t imagine going to Spring so soon. It all depends on where you live, and how and when your seasons fall. I can see transitioning to spring months earlier in Florida and other southern states.
I’m so glad you enjoyed the cozy winter decor! I completely agree-it’s nice to hold on to winter a little longer before jumping into spring. There’s something special about creating that warm, inviting atmosphere during the colder months. Thanks for your kind words! ❤️❄️🌲
@lorraineophoff4984 You’re absolutely right! It really does depend on where you live and how the seasons unfold. In Michigan, I can totally understand why you’d want to embrace winter decor for a little longer-spring feels so far away! It’s all about enjoying each season in its own time. Thanks for sharing your perspective! 🌲❄️🪵
Thank you so much! I’m so glad you found the ideas helpful. It’s all about keeping the cozy winter vibes without jumping into spring too soon. I’m happy you enjoyed the video! ❄️🌲❤️
That’s such a great point! I think it’s all about personal preference-some people love to keep their Christmas decor up longer, while others like to transition right after. It’s actually a great content idea for when to take down Christmas decor. My upcoming content will definitely help inspire some cozy winter decor ideas for after Christmas, making that transition from holiday to winter vibes smooth and enjoyable! ❤️🌲❄️
I like taking Xmas down right after New Year’s bcuz I’ve had it up since late Nov-early Dec & I’m eager to start a fresh new year. I do keep up sprigs of evergreen & pinecones & little lights & candles & tho it’s not Xmas anymore, it’s still very pretty and wintery.
I do lots Of Clean whites with some Greenery in white vases. I don’t leave stockings or trees out just the whites with some greenery and candles !:) before slowly bringing color in for spring around first of March. As I always say do what is best for you and what u enjoy no matter what the trend or season, just be you and be happy, it’s your space❤. Also love the soft Music😉
That sounds absolutely beautiful! I love how you keep things simple with clean whites, greenery, and candles-it creates such a serene atmosphere. I couldn’t agree more: it’s all about doing what feels right for you and creating a space that brings you happiness. Thank you for sharing your approach! And I’m so glad you enjoyed the soft music-it really does help set the tone. ❤️❄️🌲
This video is exactly what I needed to fight off the post-Christmas decor blues! The ideas for layering chunky knit blankets and adding warm lighting with candles are so simple yet transformative. Thank you for the inspiration
I’m so glad this video helped with the post-Christmas decor blues! Layering chunky knit blankets and adding warm lighting really do create such a cozy, calming atmosphere. Thank you for your kind words, and I’m happy the ideas inspired you! 🌲❄️🪵
I am normally not a green person; however, all the evergrens included are wonderful. My favorite vinette is the winter blessings pillow and throw. Stops you in your stressed out tracks. Thank you!
Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment! I’m delighted that the evergreens resonated with you, even if green isn’t usually your preference. The ‘Winter Blessings’ pillow and throw are among my favorite vignettes as well; I’m glad they brought you a moment of calm. Your kind words mean a lot to me. Wishing you a peaceful and serene season ahead! 🌲❄️❤️
Thank you! I’m so glad you like the reindeer. They really do make such a lovely addition to winter decor, bringing a touch of nature and charm to the season. I’m happy you enjoyed it! 🌲❄️🪵
Thank you for your comment! I completely understand-those cold months can feel long, but it’s the perfect time to embrace cozy decor and create a warm, inviting space. I hope the winter decor ideas help bring some extra comfort during those chilly months. Stay warm! 🕯️🪵🌲
What makes these pics so strikingly beautiful is all the white with the green garland/pics. I don’t have all white walls/furniture, and don’t know anyone who does.
Thank you for your lovely comment! I’m so glad you found the white and green combination striking. It really brings a fresh, serene feel, but I completely understand that not everyone has all-white walls or furniture. You can still achieve a similar effect by incorporating the white and green accents in smaller pieces around your space-like with garlands, pillows, or even a centerpiece. It’s all about creating the vibe that works best for you! 🌲❄️
My walls are a light greige, my furniture is brown leather and taupes, this winter decor would fit in beautifully. I don’t think you need white furniture and walls to make this work ❤ sorry for all edits…autocorrect 😂
Loved this content!!! I'm one of those people who gets so sad putting away all the Christmas decor. It just comes and goes so fast! I love the ideas to extend the lovely winter vibe:)
Thank you so much for your kind words! I completely understand that feeling-Christmas decor really does fly by so quickly. I’m so glad you enjoyed the ideas to extend that cozy winter vibe a little longer. It’s all about holding onto those warm, festive feelings for as long as we can! ❄️🌲❤️
Thank you so much! I’m so glad you enjoyed the video and found the ideas helpful. It’s always great to hear that the tips are inspiring. Wishing you a wonderful time decorating!
Yes, the layered textiles: velvet, fleece, and fur (real and fake). I like evergreens inside when trees outside are barren: I keep a mini Norfolk Pine in my kitchen window. With animals, I have to be careful about candles and scents. Candleholders with lids keep the candle tops clean. I can use aromatherapy only using therapeutic essential oils only, and I research safe ones. My dogs chew up baskets and jump on the coffee table when I am gone. I love your music!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! I love how you’ve incorporated layered textiles like velvet, fleece, and fur-such cozy touches for the winter season. Your Norfolk Pine sounds lovely! I completely understand the need to be cautious with candles and scents around pets. It’s great that you’re mindful of safe essential oils and candleholders with lids. I’m sure your home is full of warmth, even with the little ones keeping things lively! Wishing you and your pups a peaceful and cozy winter season! 🌲❄️

Don’t people keep their Christmas decorations up until 12th night anymore? It seems they go up earlier and earlier and then taken down as soon as Christmas is over🤔
Nope! Christmas Day that tree is on the curb or in the box! I find it sad. We don’t get any decent weather till end of April. I’ve left my Christmas up till March before.
You’re absolutely right! Many people used to keep their decorations up until 12th Night, and it’s such a lovely tradition. My content is all about helping you transition once you’ve decided to take down your Christmas decor and move into the cozy winter months. It’s all about extending that warmth and festive spirit throughout the season. I hope it gives you some inspiration for when the time comes! 🌲❄️🪵🕯️

Hi I am new to your channel and just loved this video. I always get so sad to see my decor from Christmas going away. After watching your video, I am now thinking of all kinds of ways to design my winter decor. Thank you !

Absolutely! Winter decor can be tricky, but it’s all about using subtle touches that evoke the season without feeling too festive. By focusing on natural elements like greenery, soft textures, and neutral tones, you can create a cozy winter vibe that’s distinct from Christmas. I hope my ideas help in making that transition easier! 🌲❄️🪵
The deer just make it tooo Christmas to me. Otherwise I love it. Why don’t people ask us to PLEASE subscribe…..and not be so bossy?….love the polar bears…..where did they come from please?
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! I completely understand how the reindeer can feel more Christmasy. I’m glad you liked the rest of the decor! As for the subscribe reminder, I really appreciate your feedback-it’s important to me to keep things positive and not too pushy. Thanks for your support! ❤️🌲❄️🪵
No, it killed me when you show these videos with white couches, white rugs, white everything and then you throw a little bit of color in there. What if you have a blue couch or a green couch or a yellow couch how the hell you gonna make it look like thatit just doesn’t make sense

Why is everyone taking their Xmas decor down Dec26th. Ours stay up till at least the Epiphany! I love Christmas and extend it as it should be.
