The bit with toxic relationships whether its romantic, friendship, and/or family relations ... it's important to feel love and respect both ways.
It's strange to say but even though I sometimes think to myself if only i did this or that to avoid the pain of x,y, z ... [something I don't ever want to experience again] I also felt it was needed [to experience] to truly appreciate what a healthy relationship is.
Overall it's a part of living and learning and we all go thru it one way or another.
Love Rae as guest ... girl boss.

I always want to hear the details that rae leaves out bc im a nosey gal and i relate to the toxic relationship situation and looking back I would never allow myself to experience something like that ever again but I understand completely why rae won’t share it as of right now. Better to just heal in private and avoid unnecessary drama. Such good topics touched on you’re doing great Brooke !

i went through a toxic friendship a year ago and my brother helped me end my friendship with them and i feel more happier than before so im glad that she left her toxic relationship she is grown as a person and as a streamer proud of Rae
The part of them talking about losing friends/friendships hit way too close to home.
same I had a friendship that ended in the most hurtful way for me but i still came out of it as a better person so please don't lose yourself mourning this type of relationship (friendship and other...)

Loved the episode! Brooke is such an incredible host. Also, I think kyedae could be a great guest for this! Brooke and her would probably be able to speak up on some topics/similar experiences (mostly due to how people treat them bc of their boyfriends)
42:30 I LOVE Brooke so much, this is so true, some people in that industry truly do not realize how lucky and fortunate they are, of course there's downsides to being in the public eye and streaming but I'm sure sooo many people rather have that as a career than the standard 9-5 it's painnn

So glad she eventually cut ties and is so so so much happier and healthier and absolutely THRIVING without the dead weight trash keeping her down. Better late than never!

@@pck4491 he’s shaded her a few times online, nothing too major, a little weird but every time she talks about being in and out of a toxic relationship it’s almost always about sonii (I only remember her mentioning one other toxic relationship she had before she started streaming) because it’s usually followed up by saying the success of their streaming careers were always being compared, he makes her feel guilty for being successful and he low key blames her for him always being associated as valkyrae’s boyfriend/ex-boyfriend and then them breaking up on fairly good terms then getting back together behind the scenes only to break up again on not so good terms

Everything does come to an end. Thats the beauty. Friendships, Relationships, Family its all beautiful and important because it will one day come to an end. It is the fact we end/die that makes things so amazing, the moments, the feelings. When you're happy you are accepting that at some point you will feel a lot of pain because nothing is forever.

So I found and am catching up on this because I hadn't really known anything about BrookAB other than she was part of 100 Thieves and friends with a number of streamers and online personalities I was familiar with.
The "feel like I'm behind" section during the stream forever part of the conversation is something I never really felt. I grew up in a little small town where everyone basically knew everyone or you were cousins through some weird family tree thing a few generations ago. Few months ago ran into an old friend from school, we're both 31 by the way, neither of us have been married, had kids, nor do we want kids. We just laugh at the ones we knew had them too early (like 16-24) and how they're mostly divorced or can't really get out of the small town despite their want of it back in high school/college.
I never feel behind in that sense. Really I'm more than ahead since I don't have a bad marriage or a gaggle of children to worry over. I only feel behind because I got health issues that really screwed me over and I'm not exactly to a point I can really move ahead of where I am right now without a lot of extra work that taxes my health issues further and it's just the vicious cycle I ended up with sadly.

A Tropical island "camp" would be so cool ive got a friend who works on Royal island in Eleuthera Bahamas. and hes agreed with me that it would be one of the best pieces of content for any streamer.

18:24 I never watched twitch or streamers before 2020. I had no concept on any of that. Then I watched Pewdiepie's video where he played Among Us with Rae, Corpse, Sykunno and others. It was just like overnight I discovered all these amazing content creators that I never would have been exposed to otherwise.
