Simonside area is stunning, especially in the weather at the mo. I was in Rothbury beginning of May looking at property, canny area and I know it well....... Great access to all of natures stunning places around & about. ATB Gadgie.
You must have lots of cash. Property prices were insane 😂 yeah I’m up that way a lot in summer. Much less busy I prefer the quiet areas It’s a good place. Loads to explore. 👍
@@andyscampervan-fj19 Compared to where I live, they are cheap, and when I say cheap I mean about a third of property here..... I can't wait, and as you say, so many excellent places within a 30 min radius. ATB
Great to see Rothbury again. You walked right past where we stayed, the old cafe, now called the Coquet Nest. We walked all around the hills at the back of the town and also the Simonside hills. Nice pubs and food too. GPS training are based in Rothbury. Check out Jon’s vids. Thanks mate, enjoyed it. ATB
Mint, ive been to Rothbury but never taken any notice of anything other than the row of shops and the chinese chip shop😂 i do enjoy your vids, it makes these places come to light, thank you for sharing sir!!! You should include a pub visit too😂
In pre victorion times , there was no health and safety, so graves were dug into older graves as there was very little land available for graveyards as agriculture was more important. A friend of mine was in Rothbury for a while helping Northumbria Police a few years ago when a certain person was on his rampage. My mate was called in as he is doggy handler for Durham Police , and the dog he had at the time was a specialist tracking dog for dead people. Cracking video Mate.
Yeah I never mentioned “him” deliberately. 😂 Good info about the graves. I mentioned it in my next vid but I got distracted and never finished what I was saying 😂 👍
@andyscampervan-fj19 yeah , seeing your videos I'm wanting to get up there too with my son, either car or my health issues are always getting in the way but that's looks like its sorting itself out now so finally hope to get there soon
I can highly recommend the Cruz Airo Bars from The Roof Box Company, just fitted them to my van and I have the same idea about getting a half size roof box. I’ll send u a picture of them to your instagram page.
@@andyscampervan-fj19 I don’t know weather it still exists but for blisters,we used to pop them and put cough mixture (friars balsam)it hurt like hell but the next day it was like it never existed.

Was there when Elvis died 😎🙏🏻

That cemetery sure had a lot of headstones in it for looking small in size.
Look at the comment explaining it. I never knew. It was pretty packed though. 👍
River Roth is actually the “Coquet” that eventually flows out to sea at Amble.
You didn't watch and listen to the end.
😂 how long you watched my vids??
ah git lush❤
It was proper lush. Nice weather helped like. 👍
Been to Rothbury once , walked along the river then decided to go up to simonside hills, canny place
Yep the hills are great round there. I’ve camped a lot over that way. 👍

@@Stephentoutdoors good news. Hope you’re out soon 👍
Looked like dryads saddle, not chicken of the woods 😊
Yeah I was just guessing. Chicken is much cleaner looking.
