What confuses me is that Celestia in this comic is VERY emotional and somehow... Seriously, I can’t imagine Celestia from canon going on dates in another world and hiding it from her sister. She would not make excuses and say: “Yes, I am a ruler. Yes, I am a princess. Well, you didn’t think that I was incapable of love?” And everyone would understand everything, she is in charge, you listen, as you always have. If it were this Celestia, she would be as calm and restrained as possible, and only at the end, when parting with Sombra forever, would she cry. But I have no doubt that she behaved like this in her youth ;) Overall, I love their interaction with Sombra so much. Absolutely harmonious relationship!
