At first, they were given certain restrictions and certain freedoms, but because of their free and fun image, the company too lets them be who they are, to be a niche group that slowly climbed up.

You sum it up quite nicely which is why they are so fun to watch - every performance is unique and them having fun live is infectious. While they are all pretty, unlike other GG's they are not over glamorized or autotuned to blandness.
