Hi Paul, A other great update on the pond and filter house project mate hopefully it won't be long before you will getting the fish back into the pond mate. Steve
the issue you have is ground water could even be a under ground spring. if your soil content is clay your options are limited. I think you be better building up rather than go deep. you could put a pipe in and use hydrostatic pressure using a liner to push the water to a pipe.than would move the water downhill some where I have the same issue as such can not go deeper than 2 foot.
Shame you never used proper visqueen instead of that crappy tarp then you probably wouldn't have had this problem. But still, it's looking good and moving along. Can't beat a pond build series. Cheers.
Hi Paul I'm in the process of fiberglass my pond can I do a bit at a time with the fiberglass as I'm having a window in it could I do the window frame first ? And what was the ratio you used? Please
@@richardfrost1026 I did mine bit by bit mate, only trouble with that is that you di end up using more resin as if you put second layer on and then tissue, it's soaking up what's on wall already..but you can do it...I was using 10ml of hardener to 1 litre of resin...gives you a bit of time to use it up mate...
@@PaulsKoipond thankyou I have various people saying I need to seal or don't need to seal but it's great to get advice from someone who has done it cheers
You're getting there Paul💪👍
Thanks Steve, I do feel like it's starting to come together now
Pain in the arse mate, I had the same issue, not to your extent, but over the winter it did my head in. Another step closer pal 👍🏼👌🏼
I do feel like I'm getting there now bud....probably the kiss of death right there

Do you seal the render before you fibreglass it just finishing render on my own pond and deciding whether to go liner or fibreglass.
I always give it a coat of the resin first mate, it helps hold the fibreglass

No worries mate, it's always worked for me...just make sure walls are dry and you have brushed them down mate
First 🧁👍👍👍
Congratulations mate
