how did you cast mindbreak trap with 3 mana? boseju and 2 dual lands? when it cost you 4 mana?

@@cojotvlive4870the 3 mana was to pay for Defense Grid, I was able to cast the trap for free since 3 or more spells were cast by an opponent

He made me think of my Lord of the Pit/Ebon Praetor Breeding Pit deck, I think the joke would work better if Breeding Pit wasn't an actual card, but it's still a good line.
Brian missed a game winning Wandering Archaic trigger on the deflecting swat.
he mentioned it at the end recap..
Not only that, but Brian also still had 7 mana open, he could have casted the nezahal to restart his loop with springleaf and mox amber, which he also mentions in the recap
Lua couldn’t have even cast that swat. She had defense grid in play. She didn’t have the mana to pay for it.
@@Ameth0814 she had 3 mana, deflecting was for free, but she had to pay for defense grid and wanderer or get countered. Brian would have won here with infinite mana and bouncing cursed totem

This might be just me… but WHY people don’t seperate their creatures, artefacts and enchantments more is crazy to me. Like dude. Your mox amber isn’t gunna block or attack. Get it off the front of the board lol. My craziness aside, this video was sick and I love watching all of you play 💕
It might be just a reminder for Kinnan making more mana I tend to put those closer to Kinnan when I play.

Disclaimer: I know it's hard to make decisions during a long game as Lua mentioned and there's so much going on.
However, putting aside the missed Archaic trigger, I don't fully understand Lua's thought process on the Deflecting Swat targeting Yuriko. I get that she didn't want to bounce the Cursed Totem and risk Brian winning right there with Kinnan activation. But I find it hard to believe that her best line was to bounce Yuriko, especially after they had discussed it.
It went basically into the best case scenario for her, *including* Tori missing that she could ninjutsu Yuriko from hand to get an additional trigger instead of just casting her, not ninjutsu-ing the other ninja in her hand for an extra damage and an extra trigger, Yuriko only hitting two one drops, and Sheoldred getting sent at Brian (unblockably, but still), and she still lost. Even if she were on 1 life, she'd have to pay the 4 to her Mana Vault or die there.
Like she needed all that to happen and for Yuriko to hit 0s twice (maybe this is like a 10% chance based on the decklist) and then try and win from 3 mana and no other really relevant permanents in play. It seems absurdly slim vs the chance that Brian hits something with Kinnan that can mess up Tori's board somehow.
Please have both Cam and Brian on again soon. They're so great!

I'm a bit confused here (only like 4 minutes in here) but why did tori fetch at end step then vamp Tutor on her turn to then just pass which is even stranger because the following turn she played both farie seer and saprazan legate either could have been played the turn before and still hold up the 1 mana she had for interaction and I'm saying all this assuming farie seer wasn't in hand turn one because if it was I have more questions

@@ModAnonMTG There's a fringe legacy deck that just plays mono black , trying to use fast mana to get out whatever creatures are in their opener, so I've definitely seen Brian go island, ponder, take 2, pass on turn 1
"One or more to a player" is two treasures if you hit two different players.
Wouldn't the Prosperous Thief scale with players hit, so Tori would make extra treasures from hitting more than one player?

This was painful to watch lol Honestly though for it being Brian’s first time running the deck it was a very solid performance. The Deflecting Swat kind of just felt like kingmaking anyway…

Can someone explain to me how Cedh can be played "for fun"? When i see Cedh games it feels like its always a infinite comb at turn 2-4 and everyone tries to counter it and after 30 in of reacting to triggers someone wins :D
When Tori gets targeted by the swirling wind couldn't she move yuriko to the command zone and then reninjitzu her in before combat damage
Phasing doesn't change zones, so you can't choose to put it in the command zone instead

As a proxy player, it hurts me to see the cards being put not fited inside the shields...it is bloody ugly doing that. People should at least to make this wiith a little love and passion, not in a trashy way
