This is called the American manicure. Or American tip Here in Michigan this has been around for decades. Unlike the French manicure which features a stark white tip, the American has a milky clear off white hue that is close to that of a healthy non bleached nail tip. Our salons feature this shade in polish and acrylic. Our stores also sell this in a glow in the dark version.

I'm 38 now and after 20 years my nails are still much stronger than other peoples nails because I stopped the biting!! Do it... do it now!! Woopwoop!
