I have a guitar that I played a lot of shows with and recorded with my dad got me but the Gibson Les Paul was like the "prize" even though I played it way les. ;)
It's a black neck thru Ibanez RG with passive pickups. I don't think I've ever shown it on the channel. Maybe I'll make a video showing my current guitar collection. Maybe I'll give a brief history of each instrument. I have sold many of my guitars throughout the years but I have recently acquired more acoustics. I still have a good chunk of electrics though. 2 of which I plan on never selling.
That was useful! Thank you. I need high portability, and I'm switching back and forth between an Enya Nova concert ukulele and a Yamaha Junior guitar. This ax (hatchet?) looks like it pretty much splits the difference.
I just took it on a trip and even though a full size guitar fits in the overhead of the planes I take, it's nice to have one bag, I just fill the extra space with shirts and other clothes and the small guitar is just enough to be enjoyable and you dont really notice it's actually smaller until you look at it hard. Lol
Is Enya mini the same tuning as guitalele or guitar? And what kind of strings can we use with Enya mini? I'm thinking about a travel guitar or piccolo guitar but I can't be sure which one is better. Tuning, chord and strings are important topics😅
Just received my mini today. It will grow on me since my point in getting it was to have a travel guitar to practice on and not really worry about when it comes to bumps and bangs. It's louder than I thought, though It has some minor intonation issues that I think I just might need to accept. I mean it's a sub $100 instrument. It's barely above a Toy minus that it's actually carbon fiber.
@@DouglasThompson Genius! Do you have any slight intonation issues? I noticed that if I fret the strings with too much pressure, the note goes sharp? I am wondering if the fret height Is slightly too high.
@@DouglasThompson I think that the frets are a bit High. I noticed that they are a bit out of tune because I can actually fret the strings too hard, bending the strings out of tune. So I might--if feeling ambitious--take down the frets a hair.
I was searching for info about this guitar. I am basically a very beginner and my family gifted me with an electric guitar (Gio Ibanez) but I wanted something acoustic, robust to take around... also that could fits to my small hands and smaller wallet 😅 Maybe... could this be an interesting option?
It's really an awesome little instrument. Great for beginners or advanced players, it's not like a "main" guitar that you would want to use for every situation but it's great for travel, practice, writing etc.

Is there any difference between Enya go and Enya go mini except size? I really want to know.If there is no difference then I would like to buy the mini as I can't afford the bigger version.Also I never want mini to sound like ukelele or guitarlele.
Size is the only difference, well the way the strings attatch to the guitar is different but it just makes stringing your guitar easier. And it sounds more like a guitar than a uke but you can tune it to standard e tuning without it sounding floppy.
@hammill444 less than I used to in the past but I am actively writing new riffs all the time, writing songs and I am building guitars now too. I've built 6 guitars now from raw wood.

Correct its A standard but I tune it lower. You can use any ball end strings.

I love mine, took it with me on a recent trip to California in a full size gig bag and stuffed the rest of the case full of clothes! ;)

I haven't noticed but that might be due to the fact I put nylon strings on my enya guitars. They are always a bit out out of tune. Lol

Well if you have big hands the 1/2 scale if you have piano playing fingers like me the mini is pretty comfy still and saves a lot of space.
