mazda eunos mx5 base idle setting

This is a short vid to show you how you set the base idle to match the ecu idle.
Make sure the car is at running temp and all electrics are off

i have never had a loud hiss when adjusting the bass idle...
you might have an air leak coming from the screw i have seen some people fill the hole with blue tack this will stop any leaks and also stop the screw from moving after the idle has been set...

I imagine after 8 years this may still perplex you and you still haven’t figured this out but you can just use any piece of wire.
