Just on the recovery action outside of combat- I much prefer the rule in the easy mode rules which makes stamina recover rec per hour, or half as much if doing something active. Allowing access to the recovery action outside of combat- combo'd with any healing spells makes damage and stamina use in combat meaningless over the course of a day. It just leaves critical wounds, curses and sickness as the only long term difficulties the party faces. It changes the tone of the game from a more grounded system to one which is more heroic, especially since all spells and abilities are unlimited use within the confines of stamina in a single combat.

Great idea! I like the idea that stamina also recovers more slowly over the course of a day, I think we'll have to implement that.
