In my area we must not have content creators cause nobody takes the orders till (but not always) they double or triple stack them, AND only sends crappy runs to some drivers so that they might be desperate enough to lower their standards. They got me good the other day, and I am still salty about it. On screen it didn't look horrible (I didn't notice the miles) as the pick-ups were across the street from each other. I ended up delivering a damn 12 pack of coke 9.8 miles! Twenty miles on my car for a flat $5.
I could do it on earn by time again! Unfortunate doing it with earn per offer would be much easier to guess the tip since I can see the payout before taking the offer because if it’s like $6 I know my base pay is $2.50, so I’ll know the tip is $3.50 :)

I will do Uber eats next, but I think I already know the answer is doordash because I have to usually decline a lot of Uber eats offers that are like $3 for 12 miles before getting good offers
Finally a TravelJB video! Another suggestion is I’d like to see you deliver in Philadelphia in one of these videos someday. I usually DoorDash in the Houston suburbs and I went to inner city Houston to deliver last week and it was an interesting experience.
I did Philly one time about 2 years back and any order that was like $8 for 2 miles sounds like an amazing offer but it takes like 20 mins just to drive 2 miles in the city
Arby’s is a real one for the menu bump. The same thing happened to me and the worker told me they are upping their prices 15-20%. Who cares, give me the dollar.
If I ever ordered something where the driver had to drive 10+ miles I'd give at least a 15-20 dollar tip , in my opinion if you can't afford to leave a good tip you shouldn't be ordering from doordash or any food delivery app
Tip on the "take photo of the menu" just use your phones camera app and then select the gallery icon on the door dash camera and select the one you took! ez
You should be platinum level by now if your area has the new dasher program. Taking everything should make DoorDash love you a bit and give you JUICY offers.
I frequently get orders from uber that are just criminally bad. Like 3 dollars for 23 miles bad.. Not even sure why they even let it go through and offer it to someone. Saw one yesterday for like 9 dollars for 35 miles. Opposite side of the city.

Hmm I’m not sure because some days I get really good orders on both pay models and other days I get really bad orders on other pay models. Unfortunately you really just have to test it out in your market. But for me, I personally like earn per offer

I rejected a 2 dollar order and 6 minutes later a newbie shows up to take it, thankfully I run more than one app and took the better paying one lol...

Difference is I can reject 50 UE orders in a row and it doesn’t affect me, whereas DD penalizes you with the acceptance rate.

Some days pay by time works better. Much more relaxing and no need to hurry. I accept every order and it brings my AR rate up.
