She was arrested and detained for no crime whatsoever, except for what the US thought other nations should submit to, by way of honoring US laws outside of US territories and jurisdiction. She pleaded not guilty, and in the end, the US admitted that Ms. Meng Wanzhou was not guilty, but was apprehended for not adhering to US-made laws outside of US jurisdiction. The US ought to pay reparations to Ms. Meng Wanzhou.

After the DPA (deferred prosecution agreement) terms end in Dec 2022, Meng must sue the Canadian government for U$3B for illegal confinement, emotional trauma, suspension of CFO career, and defamation of character. Beijing can help in that pursuit of justice by arresting Apple CEO or other equivalent for violation of human rights and national security infringements.
