He is an actor.. what do you expect..?! Actually he made his first impersonation of Sean Connery in his first important movie, The Hunt of Red October.
I watch this clip regularly, I think Alec Baldwin is a talented comedian. Sad to hear of what's happened recently, this man's mental state will never be the same again....
I mean, I don't think his mental state was great beforehand. In 2007, he left a voicemail insulting and degrading his daughter when she was a child and wasn't even exactly sure how old she was: "You are a rude, thoughtless little pig. You don't have the brains or the decency as a human being. I don't give a damn that you're 12 years old, or 11 years old, or that you're a child." If he had been in a better mental state before the accidental shooting, he would have had a better chance of coping with it in a healthy way. Unfortunately, it seems like he has fallen into the typical celebrity trap of putting his own feelings and needs above all others, including his daughter's. That doesn't set you up for being able to deal with trauma well.
Same here ... I revisit this video from time to time. He does the best impressions I've seen of De Niro and Pacino. It is very sad to see what's happened to him.
I felt the exact same way when I watched the reunion interviews. Duvall and Caan seemed senile. De Niro is painfully shy always. It was like sitting in an old peoples' home. Actors aren't the brightest bunch. Coppola is always articulate though.
Wow that's really great that you can speak for people you don't know. Anything else you know NOTHING about that would like like to open your silly mouth about?
No I do not know Andy on a personal level, but you are the one presuming that he is distracting. I don't see how that if, I did, indeed know Andy on a personal level.... as you call it, matters at all.
This shows really good acting technique. A true profesional actor, aware of voice pitch, facial and body communication, etc. Plus a great sense of humor and intelligence blended with good character. Great!
Wow his young Pacino is amazing! I've been looking for someone who could do a young Pacino but everyone sort of seems do the Scent Of A Woman Pacino. All his Pacinos were on point though.
The Revolution Will Not Be UA-camd check out Titus welliver al Pacino , he does 4 stages of Pacino starting at godfather point & it’s amazing hearing young michael corleone
I saw the reunion video, couldn't follow most their conversation, then noticed this video on the side, opened it, and was I glad I wasn't the only person who felt that way, thank you Mr Baldwin, your impressions were spot on.
I know exactly what hes talking about too, I have a couple uncles that do this and I end up laughing with them, because I didnt pick up on what they said. Just hand movements and roaring laughter, only after the laughing do they clarify, its so ridiculous
@@Simo_Oficiall I have screenshotted your comment, and I am sending it to Alec Baldwin's legal team. Either delete your comment, accusing him of murder, or expect to be contacted for a civil case in a few months.

Wow!!! That is the best Al Pacino impression I have heard. Most people get it wrong. Even Kevin Spacey that does great impressions cant do Pacino right. (I feel ;)
You can just see right here that he truly is a nice man, but because of something horrible that he accidentally did, cost his career to go down for everyone to hate him 🥺
One of Pacino s best performances based on a true story. In this scene Pacino takes the kid for a walk after another cop beats him with a large telephone book. The kid s face is swollen.
Hahaha nicely coined, the Italian Foghorn Leghorn "I do declare". Special mention to Robin Williams (RIP) who at Pacino's AFI acceptance award compared Pacino to Foghorn for a different reason and was not quite on point.
Alec in my view is the funniest man in the world. Ricky Gervais is second. what makes Alec extraordinary is that he is also a bloody great dramatic actor. also nice , honest, and good looking,
I would partially agree with that, were it not for the fact that both Baldwin & Robin pretty much lifted this entire Pacino bit from Jay Mohr who did this almost two decades ago, even the bit about Pacino’s voice being high and then super low. Baldwin lifted it almost verbatim but changed the examples from “Dog Day Afternoon” (Mohr’s original bit) to “Serpico”. Pretty disappointing as Alec Baldwin is a hilarious mimic.
I was randomly thinking about the old movie "beetlejuice", and was surprised to discover michael Keaton played beetlejuice, but even more surprised that Alec Baldwin played Barbara's husband, Adam. Classic movie.
Baldwin is definitely one of the very coolest actors and speakers I know. He's smart, witty, quick brained and still polite and humble. The kind of guy you'd like amongst your friends.

@Wolfgang H Deniro is mostly Irish, German, English and Dutch. He is on about 20% Italian
@Wolfgang H LOL, Yep his mom was German, Dutch and French. His dad Irish and Italian.
“I remember that time, when you go…bwaahaahaahaahaa!!”
R.I.P. James Caan
That DeNiro impersonation was on point.
Man, he's already done it ages ago on SNL.......search that up......its BETTER THAN DENIRO!!!!!
Nah, nah, he insulted him a lil' bit. A lil' bit.
MegaDonGallo nice goodfellas reference
Was on point because he did that 20 years ago on SNL and back then it already was on point!

SNL 1996!

Alec Baldwin seems like a nice person. He talks to both Conan and Andy instead of rudely ignoring Andy like most guests do.
kikiKaysie not saying he isn't but he clearly knows how to work a room.
Andy is totally pointless though

J Long The guy is boring and pointless. End of story.
This is a master class in "working the room". Baldwin involves Richter and performs to the audience never losing his flow. Just wow.
He blew them all away.
Guys that are this good at impressions can just entertain endlessly. Its like a impression vortex that sucks you in
i like the fact that Conan is actually laughing
He faked some at de Niro because the audience wasn't reacting. Perhaps they couldn't see the mimics from distance :))
Runar Gisli unlike Jimmy Fallon's horrendous fake laugh
ELVIS1975T better than jimmy fuckboy
reminds me of fallon. he fake laughs so much, even on non jokes!
But Conan’s laugh was very distracting because it was so loud. He almost covered Baldwin’s impressions with it.

He's absolutely right about that reunion. It was like a field trip for the old age home. Not one comprehensible phrase could be found.
Why invite all the stars in Godfather. Just call Baldwin.

Al Pacino is an unbelievable actor, very close to Brando talent wise.
