JT do that Jayo Felony with Method Man & DMX "Whatcha Gonna Do?" Them late 90's collabs was 🔥 John Blaze as we used to say. Def Jam & Loud was runnin' it.
Instill.dont know why Master P was on this. Commercially at the time he was pretty popular but musically it made no sense. This was a tube for true spitters.
One of the best remixes of that time. We have to keep it a stack and give Canibus his credit, if you know anything about his pen game, he's one of the best LYRICISTS of his generation. When it comes to pure BARS Canibus is ELITE. That said, L.L. is...well. L.L. THE LIVING LEGEND. He takes any slights or perceived attacks and goes for your juggular...that's why he's been respected for as long as he has been. Canibus picked the wrong phrase on the wrong album to spit. It was a respect to L.L. but "L' took it, ran with it and bodied him. Gotta watch your mouth when you talking about Rap Royalty. Nice react!
When you go to do reactions on videos, you want to type in the name of the song plus `uncensored version`, it`s out there cause I can`t enjoy censored songs.
@@MrRLP402 LL Cool J popularized the phrase "GOAT" around the time this track came out and you cannot start your first verse on an LL song by stating, "I'm the illest n*%#a alive, watch me prove it. I snatch your crown with ya head still attached to it" which is what Canibus did and keep in mind that he was practically unknown at the time and LL was trying to help him and promote him because many other bigger names in hip hop wanted to be on that track. To conclude, no harm done; it was a good feud and both guys worked it out and patched things up and it's all good because it was entertaining for the fans.
@albertjimenez7896 that wasn't the verse that LL had a problem with. Canibus changed his verse to the one you quoted at LL's request. LL mismanaged the situation. It was kinda petty he had a problem to begin with but whatever. All he had to do was have Canibus change his verse, then LL write his verse and there would be no beef at all. Instead, LL dissed Canibus THEN had him change his verse and kept the disses against Canibus in there. A shady move to me.
Canibus is a supreme wordsmith, but he's not a song maker. He's like that streetball legend with crazy handles who couldn't make it in the NBA.LL has sings that dwarf Canibus whole catalog.Round The Way Girl, Mama Said Knock You Out, I Need Love, I'm Bad ..etc...It just makes Canibus insignificant on the contemporary scale.
@dirtyface-capone7622 LL radio album was pretty good all the way through. Mr. Smith had some nice songs on it. But other than that, his albums wasn't all that. Had some good songs here and there. I'd put canibus 2000 b .c. up against any of LL albums. Canibus has alot of good songs , more than people think.
This was DMX's first main stream appearance before he even dropped his own video for Get At Me Dog
Yep ll said this
LL did Canibus so dirty smh Canibus was such a great talent too
Is
This Was When Hip-Hop At It's Best All 5 On One Song Everyone Went Hard ⏸️ Still Playing This Song R.!.H DMX One Of The Best To Ever Do It Ruff Ryders
I was in college and life was good and this was played every week in my room

Dope visual on this vid. Meth with all them cats behind him.. to me that symbolizes the clan and it was so dope
Real hip hop clásic
The uncensored video is on UA-cam. You have to look for it. The radio edit will usually be the first one to pop up.
You should watch “Canibus Vs LL Cool J from Beef 2” then react to Canibus - 2nd Round knockout
Every point counts ❤😂😅😊
Please do a review of Onyx Feat Wu Tang - worst

Master p was there to rep the south.. face would’ve been a better choice but it is what it is
Thank for the reactions JT but try using uncensored tracks.

LL was Dissing Canibus on that verse because of what he said. He left his verse on the song and put him in his place.
When a living legend attempts to help and promote you, don't try to dim his shine on his own record. LOL
@@albertjimenez7896 All Canibus said was "Is that a mic on your arm, can I borrow that? " LL was in the wrong here.

Either way it started a beef and LL basically put him on the Shelf
X
this is literally the same song.
Canibus ate LL up. Sorry Canibus is one of the GOATS and that’s over LL
You mean, the GOAT.
Canibus could never be what LL has been to rap
@@MultiBillionHeir you right about that because canibus would've never said what LL said on that flavor in yo ear remix

Please stop doing censored versions they don’t slap as much they ruin the flow of the reactions
Tod Smith is so wack.
U need to go to the optometrist 😂
