I meet John Ritter in the late 80's in down town Toronto. He paid for ice-cream for myself and my friend and signed my note book. One of the happiest days for me 😊.
As a former Torontonian, I can well imagine. So many wonderful, talented & gifted artists passing through, filming, performing, & walking T.O's streets. I'm glad you had that experience, and I can well imagine it. Be well.

This movie was made in 1999. I have never seen or heard of it. It is a powerful movie. Thank you for putting it on YT. May John Ritter rest in peace. It is interesting that he played a minister on the Waltons. Everyone did a great job acting in this movie.

A lovely message promoting the compassionate and forgiving nature of our Holy Father. John is meant for this type of role. We lost a beautiful soul when he passed.

The acting is superb. I never realized what a great actor John Ritter was. I'm so glad I was prompted to watch this movie. And I agree - wish there were more movies like this with John Ritter, Meredith Baxter and all of the actors in this movie. Beautiful movie. John Ritter RIP This movie is one more example of his God Given Talents. Refreshing to see he had explored other material in acting. Yes I had seen him in other roles besides Threes Company, Not in a role like this as full length movie.
All of the casting fit perfectly like a puzzle. thank for not letting this one get lost. Worth every minute to watch.

I find more gems here than in Netflix and all off those combined .. am just older ;)

At the beginning, it seemed to be a dull "B" movie...
then it suddenly developed, and all of the characters were woven together into a common thread of devotion to our great God in Heaven!
The preist's final salutation to his parish in the last scene brought me to tears...
so authentic, so genuine, so true to God's Word.
The Lord is good, and faithful.
Amen.

When we had massive earthquake,😧 we lost our beautiful church 😢.
So SPECIAL, was built by my ancestors, who arrived in our little memorable town.
Catholic or not, all were broken hearted, at the UNTENABLE situation we found ourselves in 🤔😔🥺.
OUR church was made all of stone.
The Anglican church across the road, took us in.
They shared their church WITH US 💓😢.
That's what it is all about 🙏.
We lost most of our City, and many died.😭.
That's why I love my little childhood town.
Because, they know how to SHARE the LOVE 💓🌺🙏
That’s what Jesus taught: to be compassionate, to share, to love one another. We live so far away from what we meant to be.

A feel good movie, with John Ritter and Meredith Baxter, so good acting too.
I already saw this movie once before quite a long time ago, as I remember!! I absolutely love this movie with John Ritter and Meredith, Baxter, who are both or were both wonderful actors(well, Meredith is still here on this earthly plane!!)… I love the whole movie in the Episcopal Church, which is the church I was primarily raised in in Pennsylvania and Florida… I am now a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints… anyway, thank you to any, and all that we’re involved with this movie and brought this movie to us on UA-cam… Such beautiful people in the film… Yes, and may John Ritter rest in peace…❤ love, Sister Gay Michaelis(for we are all brothers and sisters)…

In my opinion a true Christian movie no physode just real we are all not perfect but God and Jesus even in all our failures still loves us and if we confess ask and have even a little faith He does grow us and change us. He is so amazing. Believe it or not He is real and true. The way the truth, light hope and life. I know it.

I love this movie! I am a bonified born-again child of God. I just finished watching and it it touched my heart. People may not believe me, but so what. I too, saw God in the sky a couple of times. First I saw him up here as the Kool-Aid guy because he wanted to appear gentle. Are rainbow was through his face and he was smack above the roof of my house! Later on I Saw his hands in the sky. I took a walk at lake Michigan and then there was a storm. The water was a beautiful turquoise. I don't think anyone else noticed his hands. How is video recording from my phone on both occasions. And I didn't notice God appear until after I viewed my recordings. wow what a miracle! He knew I believed in him already. I think all of this happened because of my faith in him during my cancer battle. I cried out to him everyday, and then a few years afterwards I couldn't stop thinking him. And then I saw these sightings of Him. If people could just open their minds. God could make their lives miracles too. Rest in peace John Ritter. I love you too. 😭 🤧🥲🥹❤😂❤🥲

Loved this movie. Reminded of the time my great nephew and i seen a huge angel in the cloud. Standing separate from all the other clouds. Looking down. Have not seen another since. In my heart i know we all have an anget sent by God to look over us all. May not know exactly were the bible verse us located in the bible. I do know the word of God is written in my heart and if you open you hearts. You will find His words written upon yours too. Starting in the begining all the way to God so loved the world. And beyond to the scary book of revelations. Although Proverbs is scary too. Because it makes you know that without Yeshua Jesus we are all doomed.

The only reason I watched this movie was because John Ritter was the leads actor. Personally I'm not into religion but it was an enjoyable feel-good movie! If you like family drama with happy endings, this is well worth watching. 👏👏

The author of the movie creates a little confusion about religious denomination. Only in Catholic Church they are called Priests and Fathers and also they can’t be married, the rest ( protestant churches) called them Pastors. Unless there are some changes now.
No, there's also Orthodox Christians, they are neither Catholic nor Protestant, and their priests are allowed to marry. Also, not even remotely new.
