I’m pregnant with my third (a little boy) I have an almost three year old and 1 and a half year old so all my nesting and organising bits has to be up high away from tiny hands! so diffrent from when your pregnant with your first and you can have everything anywhere but now my toddlers are into the whipes the dummies the nappy caddy! EVERYTHING! Lol
Great video babe, wishing you the best! Will you be pumping during the day? I’m wondering because if baby is formula-fed during the day, I would be so engorged the whole day! Also just wanted to mention that I read somewhere that teats have to be changed between babies. Just wanted to update you in case you weren’t aware 😘🙏🏼
Hey hun, no, I won’t be pumping during the day. I pumped last time and can’t be bothered with it again. Your body is honestly so so clever, after the first few days of cutting out daytime feeds, your boobs will naturally regulate your milk, so they will only fill up at the times that you are due to breastfeed. It’s amazing! So don’t worry about engorgement, it’ll only last a day or so, and you can always hand express a little bit in to a Muslin cloth to relieve it till it settles down. I’ve read that about the teats too. I think we will use the brand new bottles that we’ve been gifted first, and then see if I’ll still be using the Mam bottles. If so, I’ll get New Teats xx
Ahhh enjoy 😀 it’s so exciting setting everything up isn’t it. We haven’t bought a new mattress as the crib was brand new for our first baby so it’s only my first baby that’s used it. I just gave it a clean with the Dr Beckmann carpet/upholstery cleaner and some warm water x
Are you able to explain how you'll be doing combi feeding? I think this is what I will want to try with my partner but I'm not sure all the details, how and when best to do which type of feeding and equipment etc
Hey lovely! I will do a video on it once I get in to a routine as I’m not 100% sure myself yet. Butttt, I think I’m going to formula feed during the day (including the last feed before bedtime), and then when baby wakes during the night I will breastfeed so I don’t have to prep bottles during the night. Also, your breastmilk is apparently containing the best nutrients between midnight and 5am so night time breastfeeding would be the most beneficial for them 😀 All the equipment is in the video, that’s everything that I’d recommend for the formula feeding side of things (that’s what we used with my first baby) xx

I started nesting really early with this pregnancy. Also my 2nd 🌈 baby boy. I didn't have a nesting face with my first and this time I've been nesting since I was like 16w, I'm currently 25w+3d and have like everything prepared except preparing/washing things I'll get from baby shower in August but other than that I have everything I need already and I'm so happy. Just waiting as patient as I can for baby boy to make his big arrival in September
Hi dear. Can i ask if you exclusively breast fed for a short time with your first born or did you mix breastmilk and formula right away and will you be doing the same for your newborn? My husband wants me to exclusively breastfeed but i don't think that will always be possible.

I think it was just the standard setting on my machine for that cycle, so 40 degrees I think xx
