These products will be hidden on this collection page only, how to hide the products sitewide, so that they are accessible to VIP members only and not to other customers?

Same here. I dont have collection-template. Instead I have collection.json under template folder.
this doesn't seem to work on 2.0 themes?
Issue is, 2.0 default template is in .json and the above said solution is for .liquid. May be they can offer a hack for it

You could try something like Novel apps.shopify.com/novel
Why say it's in the description and not include it? lol
