How to doodle heads

Thanks a lot for this wonderful tutorial. Drawing heads is always a challenge for me.
I use to draw digitally with Procreate or with pen and paper.

I mostly use pen and paper since my work calls for lots of screen time. Plus, I like the tactile feeling and I'm learning to draw so it feels like I should start with the basic tools before layering on digital.
