These videos are what separate you from the other reselling channels. Showing the less fun parts of reselling and being realistic with effort/time/ reward. A lot of channels will take you hunting find a 14$ game for 10$ and say they made 4$ in 30 seconds which isn’t true. Respect. Creating your own lane can’t wait to see where you guys are in a year.
Had no idea that Lego pieces and figures were worth so much! I thought only unopened/sealed boxes were worth finding and selling! I enjoy watching and learning from your videos! CATRP is one of my favorite UA-cam channels to watch!!
You hit the nail on the head. Lego reselling is only worth it if you know what to charge and what you’re looking at. Otherwise it takes way too much time to sort and research to be worth it. I rebuild old vintage sets and also sell mini figures, but selling mini figures are the easiest quickest flip for sure. Great video!
That giant orange ship is the Guardians ship. Costs about $200 cdn new and is still available online. Comes with a black brick built stand that it sits on and can pivot. Also, it is Lego, not Legos. Nice haul!
I've been dabbling in reselling lego for a minute and it's hard to justify the time unless you love lego and enjoy going through it. Great video and amazing tips!
I find bulk lego about once a year. My most recent was a bin of late 80's/early 90's lego with multiple complete sets we were able to build. My process for bulk processing: -Set aside partial assemblies and unique pieces for research. -Sort by types (Technic, bionicle, standard blocks, minifigs, star wars, specialty piece groups) -Throw away all megablocks! - Complete sets from partial assemblies if possible - List unique pieces separately individually or by lot. (unique pieces can bring $20+ each!) - Sell complete valuable minifigs. Lot up the rest and auction. - List partial assemblies if worth it. - List rest in sorted lots by bulk weight. The more you sort, the more your bulk price per lb. One last bit aside from making money on bulk lego - I get to spend an entire day with my older kids sorting and building. It is so much fun!
Awesome sauce my dudes! Y’all will kill it with this purchase! I bought an entire tote of legos at a yard sale in Lansing for $15 & took out all the mini figs & sold the remnants for $60. Still sitting on over 50 mini figs!
Very useful information! Last time I got a huge Lego Lot I paid 20$ for a full bin. I could see on the top Star Wars, Marvel and Harry Potter stuff. Took about 5 hours to sort. I set the figures aside. Sorted the MegaBloks from the Lego. And found some random artefact amongst the bin. In the minififures there was the 1st Spider-Man print and the Green Goblin Helmet and sold them both for 100$. Got another 100$ from the figures. Then another 100$ for the bulk lego (didn't want to mess with uncomplete sets). Got 25$ from a silver medal in the artefacts. And I always have an ebay listing with random toys and accessories for 25$ and constantly adding "junk" in it. Most of the time it will sell to people customising action figures. So yeah Legos are great!
Chase my man, so proud of you! I messaged u years ago when u bought a big Lego collection and tried to tell u then minifigs and Lego are worth some good money. I have been collecting Lego for over 20 years and if you need any help or have any questions. Please feel free to lay the figures out on a piece of paper and put numbers underneath them and post it. I can tell you pretty much anything you want to know about those figures and help put heads with bodies, etc. U did so well!!!
FYI.. Google lens is pretty good at helping figure out what bricks are which and what set they might be from. Also Bricklink is also really good if you know what the brick number is. BTW almost all bricks have a part number stamped in them.
I love lego resell videos like this because with reseller who know what they have just an example of one I’ve seen is where they will separate expensive and cheap minifigs which I understand but then kinda just throw around the cheap ones even though there still worth 10 bucks opposed to me for example I found a bag of lego at value village it had like 6 dollars worth of figures and I was ecstatic because they were cool to me. also just a heads up be carful with the dark red and brown pieces they are way more brittle :edit you actually got them both at 5:28 it was nightwing and spiderman
I just found a vintage pirates of the carribean 100%complete last month with mini figs in a box in a dumpster i threw it up online it sold instantly for 350$ + shipping i believe i could of got more..the buyer left a awesome review and wanted me to leave it dusty lol so no cleaning was neccesary either

A couple years back I sold my collection from the 80s/90s, with boxes and instructions, for waaaaay less than it was worth. Skull’s Eye Schooner, the castles, etc. I should have been more patient, it still burns to this day.
Wow nice find.. my best find was at goodwill I found 2 large trash bags of vintage Barbies and 3 trash bags of vintage GI Joes ... Spent $100 and flipped for $1,450 . Winner winner chicken dinner
Loved this one, I was a giant lego kid! I would like to see more deep dives, maybe action figures from the 80s/90s/2000s like TMNT, Power Rangers and X-men/Spiderman. Rock on dudes!
I bought a FB Lego lot in a 30 gallon tote locally in January that had 4 Star Wars Figures that were worth over 200 by themselves. It is long work to proess a tote full and if you want to complete the builds it is even longer.
Those partial sets will also sell. They don't have to always be complete. If they're retired, people will still be excited to find them in that condition.
Hey man so I noticed this bin had a lot of ninjago figs from s4 and 5 so the main figures you could look for in those seasons would be morro possessed Lloyd and master chem
Insightful video, great look into the world of lego reselling. Doing the math, if you take out cost of operations and loss of productive listing time. Seems the best route would have been to bulk sell the 90 dollar lot for 7 to 8 hundred with buyer paying shipping. The real value was in the lessons learned and future profits from this lesson. Cool video, thank you.
Blessed to have had some good results with legos myself pretty much buy them if they are priced cheap at a sale. This was such a crazy haul! Great job guys, God bless everyone!!!
Rule of thumb, any single overly large or large oddly shaped piece is gonna fetch more on its own than the infamous randomized parts per pound. I just sold three boat hulls for over $5 a piece.
Excellent video Brother's. Lego is awesome! A deep dive in redline hot wheels would be Neat'O. Thanks for sharing Your passion and adventures from Toronto Ontario Canada 😀 👍 ❤️ 🇺🇸 🇨🇦 ❤🎉🎉💯💯💯💯💯✨️
GREAT episode! More Lego content would be appreciated! I'm sure you know that the unique figures from the larger and more expensive sets will therefore often themselves be worth a lot more. I see a lot of bigger and more expensive sets on eBay sold incomplete WITHOUT the figs and still for a hefty price. Selling the figs separately is definitely a common practice. Clearly, you've got enough eBay experience to determine if it would be worthwhile for your stuff. Also, note that there are dozens of Iron Man figs so match the legs and torsos carefully. There are very subtle differences in the faceplates on some of their helmets, so match them even more carefully, lol
Also, the afols will attack if you say Legos. It's LEGO system, so referring to multiple types of pieces is LEGO pieces. LEGO is an adjective not a noun.
Got to say I'm quit jealous, wish I could find a deal like that. My kids and I are huge Lego fans and I am always on the look out for deals like this on older bulk lots, have never found one. Usually end up overpaying for lots on eBay.
Bricklink is a great place for current values! And it’s LEGO never legos! 🤭 even LEGO says it’s LEGO bricks not legos 🤭♥️ love your vids! Good score on Yondu!
just looked at the posts and there is a 30+ dollar figure that they missed its called karlof really sad they missed it but paying 200 for a figure that is worth 30 or 20 is not the move, just goes to show that its really helpful to know what you are looking at
i bought 2 bags (differernt times) of bulk lego from my local Value Village (Canada) the first bag had about 7 sets of Harry Potter lego and the second bag had about 11 sets of older Star wars both bags had the build books and all the mini figs, each bag was $19 CAD great find, still have them all, one of these days I am going to take the time to build all the lego sets I have, should be fun
I appreciate you guys doing this video. I’ve always wondered if picking up the legos at Savers was worth my time. I usually only pickup sealed boxes. I’ll pay a little better attention now.
I didn’t see anyone else mention it in the comments. The Google app is a must for looking up toys that are unfamiliar. You can search by taking a picture. It can definitely be a big time saver! Edit: Oops, got to the part where you mentioned Google lens 😹
The round red spaceship is from a marvel set. The figures in it are really valuable If they are there. The set is callef Fenris-wolf or something Edit: you found one of the figures 😅
Thank you for this video, I’ve passed on legos so much, now I’ll be reconsidering that as I like collecting them but if I can fund collecting via some resell, that would help!!

There are even some minifigures that have the lego logo that are fake 😢

Anything Star Wars from the Clone Wars sets era is gold.
It's just lego not legos. I'm a bricklink seller and that's a beauty haul.
I'm not the only one it drives nuts eh? lol
@@lifedragon99 he kept saying it
I believe the plural form of the word is leggings actually 🤓
Calling LEGO bricks Legos is like calling multiple pink bricks, pinks. It’s just dumb.
YOU WEREN'T USING GOOGLE LENS BEFORE? My gosh man. Glad you're using it now. Great haul
That's insane they weren't. Finally learned how amazing it could be a few months ago and wow the timesaver it's been
I’ve been doing this a long time brother 😅.. so “before” can mean 10 years ago lol. But I really haven’t used it much, no
Piecing together Lego Minifigures is one of my favorite things to do.

At 9:01 the figure next to the two keys is a Marvel Legends Electro from Amazing Spider Man 2. It released in the ultimate Green Goblin wave.
5:05 black minifig head probably is Lego!
That black head that you thought wasn’t Lego is a stormtrooper head I believe. Just a heads up so you don’t decide to throw it away!
A couple years back I sold my collection from the 80s/90s, with boxes and instructions, for waaaaay less than it was worth. Skull’s Eye Schooner, the castles, etc. I should have been more patient, it still burns to this day.
Brickmonkey is a solid way of identifying minifigures
It's a great app. Best part is it tells you what parts are needed to complete the minifig
Blind bags/figures series can be worth a lot and you would look over them as they look standard, accessories are key though
Wow nice find.. my best find was at goodwill I found 2 large trash bags of vintage Barbies and 3 trash bags of vintage GI Joes ... Spent $100 and flipped for $1,450 . Winner winner chicken dinner

First little tidbit of info, the plural of Lego is Lego 👍
Maybe, but should it be?
I bought a FB Lego lot in a 30 gallon tote locally in January that had 4 Star Wars Figures that were worth over 200 by themselves. It is long work to proess a tote full and if you want to complete the builds it is even longer.

A tip is to not throw anything away till your finished I’ve tossed so many pieces that looked like trash but have somehow went to a toy or a set
That Yondu goes with the Milano, I think, the orange ship that is now missing a wing.
At 18:54 I have him and spent 60 pounds and I'm from the uk
I recently paid $10 for two giant bins of legos at a yardsale and it ended up being worth wayyyyy more than I could have imagined!
at the beginning there is 2018 benatar, sanctum sanctorum, and hulkbuster. There is a spiderman homecoming set also

Pretty sure those purple tires at 7:30 are pretty rare.
Some kid out there must have really pissed off their mom to have her sell them all for $90 :)
2 things. Check the animal prices. There was a green torso with neon green transparent legs. Thats morrow. He's worth $40. I think.
Oh also separate the blocks by color & sell them by the pound!
Rule of thumb, any single overly large or large oddly shaped piece is gonna fetch more on its own than the infamous randomized parts per pound. I just sold three boat hulls for over $5 a piece.
The orange ship is Guardians of the Galaxy!
"LEGO" or "Lego bricks"...their media guide says "LEGOs" isn't a word. Many people don't realize that. Oh well.
im watching this a year late but yondu is 100 bucks now!!!!!!

In between the 2 studs on the legs of minifigures it will say lego if it's authentic
Dude that looks like hell trying to sort through all of that
check the minifigures for cracks in torsos or the legs, that's a no no for minifigure, collectors.

These are retired, just looking at the sets and figs are insane.
All that well over 900$.
That hulk is a big mini figure definitely has valur
Google lens is usually a life saver. When it fails it’s epic. Like thinking Reba Mcentire is a hypodermic needle lol😅
GREAT I LOVE LEGO !!
Well, I would personally sort the mini figures 1st, and then sort the rest sort the mini figures weapons, heads, bodies, legs. Torsos
The Moro dragon goes for 500$ new and 200 used and I saw it in the lot
You need to find a Lego pro for your team. Imagine sorting the sets and being able to sell sets
Vintage 90's sets are worth a lot.
Yeah you guys did insane
use google lens to find pieces and match up minifigure parts
Always make sure none of the mini figures got any cracks on the torso at all under the arms
I didn’t see anyone else mention it in the comments.
The Google app is a must for looking up toys that are unfamiliar. You can search by taking a picture. It can definitely be a big time saver!
Edit: Oops, got to the part where you mentioned Google lens 😹
Don't sleep on megabloks, the video game tie ins (halo, call of duty) figures and sets can have some value
Yondo’s weapon spotted at 8m 50 second mark
Sadly not every lego-piece has lego printed on it, but most of them do. I've thrown out so many of those pieces before O learned 😅
The round red spaceship is from a marvel set. The figures in it are really valuable If they are there. The set is callef Fenris-wolf or something
Edit: you found one of the figures 😅
As a collector sadly I think you have overestimated The value of some of the figures quite a bit, but best of luck selling them anyway 🙂
not gonna lie id probably keep the legos for myself lmao
90 bucks for all that is a steal one hell of a bargain
Nice I get excited when I find like a single Lego figure lol
Great video. Maybe Garbage Pail Kids.........some of those have value
you hit fuckin oil, but a good chunk of those are very very expensive and the lego stock market is craazzzyyy
Perhaps with next lego buys, you process them faster, because you have knowledge base now :)

I cannot believe how many people commented on the correct way to describe Lego(s). Quit complaining and get building! #legolife

Hello!
If you have any questions I know what 90% of this is and what it’s worth.
before selling minifigures check for cracks. cracks are most common in dark red and dark brown. they appear most often on the torso under the arms.
