I can't wait to make more of these walls to represent other cool places! This was a good place to start cause I had so many of those guitars laying in a drawer dying to be displayed! lol Thank you Jen!
Whitney, What a cute idea! I hope to visit Nashville someday. I drove thru it with my Dad back in the ‘80s. No time to stop. 💨I can’t want to see an Irish pub diorama! 😊
Now of course that I made this one I am super excited to get started on the rest! But I have to hold mysefl back because I have several other projects in the works! I'm so happy you enjoyed it!
That was kinda an unexpected side effect where I had the chance to go through my travel diary and better remember the cool things I did in TN. And now I have this little wall to remind me too, you are so right!
Absolutely love this concept! You executed it perfectly! Love the wings, the records and the BANJO! I play banjo and love all banjo music. Can't wait to see your wall over time. 😍✨
oh wow! That's so amazing that you play the banjo! I am not musically inclined at all unless you count rocking out in the car! I can't wait to start on the next one, it's going to be hard choosing my next state to country.
There were so many other things I wanted to include, a food element like "hot chicken", so I thought maybe I would make a little basket of that to go on the top of the speaker and of course also make an AMP at some point too.
I know right! They really are so cute and they look so realistic! I wanted to buy more at the time but I felt that I was already kinda getting carried away!
Love this idea! Thanks for the great content and videos you create. I just love when I see you have posted and can't wait to see what you have created next! ❤😊❤
Yeah I get why people love living there. I'm sure it has its downsides too like every state but of all the places I had the chance to see, TN was in the top 3 that I would actually live in.
You're combining two of my passions here. Music and minis. I really like how you added the lights. I'm itching to know what other states and countries you're doing. Thanks for sharing.
WOW!! I absolutely love how this came out! The guitars look so cool on that wall, and I love the layers of brick, stickers, wings THEN guitars ~ really adds to the realism. Such a cool way to remember those places. I used to make scrapbooks - still have boxes, labeled with the year, that go back to 2003! Maybe I'll get back to them, or maybe I'll try something like this. Thanks (again) for the inspiration, and congrats on all the new subscribers!! I'm slowly adding to mine, but I'm super excited about the future!!! 😻
Oh I love scrapbooking...or should I say I love scrapbooking materials! lol..I have purchased so many scrap booking things and then never really use them for scrapbooking, but they do often end up in my mini projects which makes me feel better about the money I spent on them! As far as your channel, I have watched several people grow way beyond my channel who started after me, and I had mixed feelings both happy and sad. I had to change my thinking, and sometimes I still get down because of the effort I put into it. It has been the slowest growth and if it were not for just the raw passion I have for the hobby and the tride and true weekly support I get from my viewers I probably would have bounced a while ago! So stay excited, I'm sure the future will be awesome for you!
Thank you! I thought the back lighting really made the entire piece pop! If I had really planned better I would have maybe had made some cuts through the brick to make it look more like a neon sign!
Thanks girl. They are such fun cities to visit and the state has so many beautiful areas. Its been a couple years since I had been so it was fun going down memory lane!
What a cool project! I love this idea! It looks awesome! I have a shot glass collection and magnets from my travels, having mini dioramas would’ve been so much better lol!
I don't have shot glasses but I also have the magnets (besides the guitars) for sure! They are great too cause you can travel with them! Happy you enjoyed the project, I will for sure be making more of these!
My husband and I just returned home (an hour north of Atlanta) from a trip to Waverly, TN (70 miles from Nashville) to visit my aunt. My dad and his 3 siblings were actually born at Hurricane Mills which Loretta Lynn has owned for years. Yee haw!
Yee Haw! Yes we stayed in a couple smaller areas of TN and really had a great time! I'd love to go back and explore more for sure! that's cool about the connection with Loretta Lynn!
What a great idea!! It looks so cool and fun. I’ve never been to Tennessee but this makes me wish I had picked up minis when I lived in Europe and did a lot of traveling. Maybe my daughter can find some for me 😮. I did have to laugh at myself when I saw the brick color you mixed up, I thought you had slaughtered a chicken 😂. I’m so silly. xx
I laughed when i read this! A slaughtered chicken!!!! OMG bahahahahahaha! You are silly and I love that! Oh I know, I regret not picking up minis is several places even though I despartely looked everywhere, sometimes I just couldnt find any, but that;s ok, I'll just make them! lol
I love this idea so much!!!!! Such an inspiration. I'm going to Rarotonga next year with a bunch of friends and family for my 50th (Yes I'm getting OLD! Eeeek lol), so now you have my brain just whirling with ideas to remember the trip by! You're amazing Whitney!
First may I say that at barley hitting 50 you are NOT old. My day job is working in senior living and the average age I work with is 85. If there is anything I have learned from working with them is that at 50 you can start an entire new life, new carreer and even a new persona if you wanted to! For women sometimes I think we get a little bit of the short stick when it comes to aging in this world. The older we get the more interesting and self ocnfindent we get which equals empowerment! I'm excited for you, enjoy your 50's!!!!! And back to the minis! lol yes keep on the look out for minis on your trip, even if you dont make a travel wall, just adding them on a shelf in your living room is a fun "little" reminder of the great time you had!
Love it! Love it! What do you think about a gold Record in a case, maybe a cowboy hat sitting on boots.. .. it's an amazing way to enhance a wall map too!
It's such a good idea for keepsakes. One thing I would add is plexiglass to protect it, but I am a little paranoid of contamination since I have MCS. My husband is a musician, so he loved it too. Where did you get so beautiful miniature instruments?
I love the plexiglass idea and another viewer mentionedit as well, and I think I will most likely do that at some point, maybe when I make the next one! I bought the little guitars in two places, one was a souvenir shop on Beale street in Memphis and all the rest I bought in Nashville at the Country Music Hall of Fame. But you can actually buys these also on amazon, just look up magnet guitar magnets. :)
What an excellent idea this is, Whitney! So glad to see Dave Grohl make an “appearance” in your video as I am a HUGE Foo Fighters/Nirvana fan. 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 Have you ever visited Missouri? 😃
I have not been to Missouri unfortunately! I love Dave too. If you are a fan you should read his book, you may have already, its called "the story teller" I admit I did not "read" it I listened to it on audibooks over a few air flights. But anyway, its a fabulous book about his beginnings and his coming of age story. If you do the audi book he is actually reading it, so its extra cool!
Love this!!! Never been to Nashville or Memphis just drove by. Thank you for sharing this. Just curious what state you are from. I'm from Pennsylvania.
It was a fun experience, of course we had to go to Graceland too while we were there, had to see the home of the King of rock and roll! lol I am from Texas but now live in Southern California. :) I love PA another great state!
I'm dying that you mentioned Steven Martin..I hope you believe me when I say I really did almost include him. He's one of dad's and mine favorite movie comedians. We love "The Jerk" and "A man with two Brains" and many, many others of his. lmao! thank you for mentioning him here!
Ah,the maestro Martin,a man of many talents! In my opinion, his 2 best films are ‘Planes Trains and Automobiles’, directed by John Waters,of pretty in pink fame, and a vastly underrated one called “Roxanne” which is a re-interpretation of ‘Cyrano De-Bergerac”. It is a very clever and sweet love story. You must watch this one, cuddle up to your husband and watch Steve Martin with his hilarious long nose🤣
Ok,sorry, you know how much I like talking to you,so I’m gonna describe the story of Roxannne/Cyrano De-Bergerac. It’s Steve martins finest. Cyrano is a poet,a very William Shakespeare type of character,in the origional story, which takes place in Tudor-era England. The Steve Martin version takes place in modern times, and by that,I mean 1987🤣 Cyrano has an absurdly long nose. He is secretly in love with Roxanne. He meets a handsome, but stupid person who also is attracted to Roxanne. The stupid guy admires Cyrano’s mastery of prose, and asks him to write love letters to Roxanne for him! Cyrano agrees, and the most beautiful and heartbreaking story unfolds,as Cyrano ends up communicating his true passion for Roxanne, through this complete dolt, who is using Cyrano’s words! It’s a beautiful story, truly.
@@charlesperez9976 oh believe me I have watched both of these movies several times! You are right, absolutely excellent and hilarious! I'm trying to think if I've ever seen a SM movie I didnt like, hmmmmm, I dont think so!

Yes me too! It’s going to be so fun to slowly recreate tiny spaces that take me back to all the fun places!!!
That's absolutely amazing..❤ 🇬🇧
oh thank yo so much! I was so happy to finally display my little guitars. :)
