A: Our fire house is located in the town of Willow Street, just south of Lancaster City, Lancaster County Pennsylvania.

A: That is called the "Roto-Ray," it is a spinning light designed to catch drivers attention.
Q: "Why is the call so far away?" or "Why does it take so long to get there?"
A: Many of our responses, or at least many of the ones that are uploaded are responding to assist other departments. Usually another firehouse can be seen or is passed by who is already on the call. We can reach the far end of our first due in West Lampeter Twp within 5 minutes, and in Providence Twp about 7.

Great video. A suggestion for the initial departure from the House would be to have the Fire Police van stop traffic to allow the bigger apparatus to depart without issue. It seems that in most of the videos the van is just out on the apron waiting to follow the rig. Just a thought?

The Bigger Rigs Can Get Down The Road Faster So The Fire Police I Think Would A Bit Behind Plus I Don't Think Im The Only Person That When The Tone's Drop Im Gonna Get My Crew And The Rig And Try And Get There First No Matter What
