I think Nemesis is probably more famous for the pit it's sitting in than the ride experience which doesn't really hold up against other inverted coasters today. For a 30 year old ride though that never goes higher than the trees, it's pretty damn cool.
Great video! Very jealous of all the short queues lol You must've had a pretty bad ride on Nemesis. It was ripping through its layout on every ride I've had on it. It's my favorite B&M Invert by far. I agree Smiler is a little rough, but the theming and forces more than made up for it for me. I thought Rita was very painful tho, and I found Galactica to be kind of boring, sorry haha. Only really liked the fly-to-lie element. This would be my list: 1. Nemesis 2. Smiler 3. Thirteen 4. Spinball Whizzer 5. Oblivion 6. Galactica 7. Rita 8. Runaway Mine Train 9. Octonauts Wickerman was closed when I was there, sadly
Hahaha, from the moment I was standing there, filming my reaction of Nemesis I knew there would be some backlash or comments on that 🤣 Anyway, it’s just my opinion of course and it would be boring if everyone had the same opinion. But riding Nemesis several times didn’t change both mine and Matthias’ opinion. It just didn’t do much for both of us. Doesn’t mean it’s a bad ride, it has some force. But definitely not as forceful or good as some other suspended coasters in my opinion. And Galactica…yeah…we thought it offered a way more fun ride. Way more unique experience and feelings, and just a lot more enjoyable and smooth. 😅🤷♂️ and about The Smiler: Matthias did not agree with me on that one, but yeah…it’s just a rattly ride in my opinion that’s just one inversion after the other. It gets boring really fast. I rather have airtime in that case… 🤣
Nemesis was in my opinion also a boring ride. Not so forceful and i like galactica. I was in love with this ride and more forceful than nemesis reborn in my opinion and thé Smiler was alright but not more than that ;)
