Honestly perfect timing, I have been watching the normal Kinect video because I was getting bored of the Lego sleep one so great job also your wife is the best.
As someone who’s played Kinect Disneyland: you can flat out skip talking to characters or doing quests in favor of playing the games. That’s what younger me did anyways - ain’t nobody got time to deal with Mickey’s politics.
The Mel B game demonstrated your kinect was aimed too high as it was to most people and it caused it to not work properly. You had to put it 3 feet from the ground as the manual stated.
That just proves that the device was a piece of junk, though. How many people are going to have their TV on top of something that's that exact height, especially without the camera being in the way of the screen. I just measured both of the TVs in our house, and one of them would have the Kinect blocking the TV, and the other would require that the Kinect hover in the air.
